Fell down the steps...

I fell down the steps this morning, pretty hard.  I fell down the steps when I was pregnant last time, but I was about 20 weeks so I could feel the baby moving and knew everything was fine.  Would you call the dr?  I don't know what is with me and steps when I'm pregnant!

    Did you fall on your butt on stomach?

    I am sure everything is fine since the babes are so small and very well protected. I did the same last pregnancy at a round the 20 week mark, I slid down some steps that were slippery and landed on my butt. I could feel the movement so I knew everything was okay but still scared the carp out of me and DH, he saw the whole thing.

    I would call your Dr just to be super safe, and for your own peace of mind!

    Ahhh, I feel ya! Im sorry! I agree with PP and would call just to at least let them know and see if they have some sort of protocol for this.

    Ditto call just to be safe. I once fell down the steps and butt bumped to the bottom. It hurt to sit for days. Let us know what the doc says and good luck sitting!

    I fell off one of my training horses at about 6 weeks. Not badly, rolled off a foot kind of onto my hip/butt. I was definitely freaked out, but my doctor assured me that during the first trimester they are so we'll cushioned in there that a fall wouldn't even be felt. I'm almost 10 weeks now and had an ultrasound a few days ago where everything looked perfect. I think you'll be fine, just take it easy and don't beat yourself up! :)

    You're fine :) I fell on my 50 week pregnant belly walking into labor and delivery. Both babies were fine.
