am I in labour??

Ive been having menstrual like cramps every couple minutes since last night.. is this labour? Should I go to the hospital? My water hasnt yet broken..

Please call your doctor or midwife. People experience labor differently and no one here can tell you if you are in labor or not

Ditto. If you suspect you may be in labor, give your doctor a ring. Everyone has a different labor experience, so what may actually be labor for you may not have been anything to worry about for the other women on this board.

I had something similar happen to me so I called my doctor and waited on hold forever that my husband and I just drove there (while on hold). I understand wanting feedback from other moms when you are waiting for the doctors and nurses to get back with you. Ended up just being a scare since I was 33 weeks but it was worth checking it out. Are you in pain?

Congrats! Please tell us how you progressed with the period cramps... I woke up with them at 5am. They are coming and going in my back. Not getting my hopes up!
