Experience with Endometriosis/Lupron??

Hello! I am looking for some advice so hopefully someone can help me out. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis about a year ago. I had a lap done last February then went on Lupron shots for a few months. I hated the side effects so only finished three shots. I went off of the Lupron in October (that was my last shot). I haven't been back on the pill. I am sick of hormones. My husband and I just got married in May so we're not quite ready to start trying to conceive, but I am very worried that I will have a lot of trouble getting pregnant. Does anyone have any advice or similar experience they could share? If so I would definitely appreciate it. Thanks! :)

    You may want to try Trouble TTC board and TTC 6 months.  There are a few girls on this board that could help you, but those boards are designed for people in you situation. GL>

    i had a lap a few weeks ago, mild endo and a cyst.  i wasn't prescribed lupron though.  my RE is putting me on clomid and we're doing insemination.  we've been ttc since august 07. 

    i would talk to your OB/GYN about ttc and see what s/he says.  they might recommend you try for a while on your own, or if your endo was severe they might decide to try different fertility treatments.

    Thanks for the advice Lenloe. I know I need to stop worry so much about it since we haven't even tried yet but I want kids so bad and it would be my worst nightmare to never be able to conceive. My doctor basically said, the sooner the better on trying. I don't want to start trying until we're truely ready though. Good luck to you and thanks again!

    If you are not ready to start trying you should consider going back on the pill. I know hormones suck. I would love to go off the pill, but my gyno says I either have to be on the pill or get pregnant. I trust her so thats what I'm doing. Talk to your doc.
