Ovulation after Provera?

Hi everyone! I searched the boards to find advice on my situation, but couldn't find anything exact, so I figured I would send a message to everyone.

I went off of birth control back in February and after about 90 days still had not gotten my period. My doctor put me on a 10 day round of Provera, and I still did not get my period. So we waited 5 days and she put me on another 10 day round. I did get my period 2 days later, and finished taking the 10 days.

I am now on cycle day 29 and still have not ovulated (or gotten my period again). I have been tracking ovulation several ways - tracking my basal temperature, using a digital ovulation kit, and also checking my cervical fluid. 

I was planning on waiting until Monday (cycle day 34) to call my Dr, but I wanted to see if anyone here has had a similiar experience?

    I had to take Provera when I didn't ovulate after going off BC and didn't have a period for 60 days. The rule of thumb here is usually wait 60 days and if you still don't ovulate (you will likely know since you are temping) or have a period then call your doctor.

    I was prescribed Provera twice after 60 days had gone by without a period. I went to a new OB and she is starting me on cyclic Provera so I take Provera every month starting on the 2nd to try to jump start my cycle. She thinks that if I am taking it in a way that actually mimics a cycle instead of once every 60 days, it might help to get my body back into a cycle on its own. I had not thought of that since most posts say to wait 60 days before calling your doctor. Maybe you could ask the doctor if you end up getting prescribed Provera again.
