Etopic pregnancy

So im suppose to be 6 weeks n 4 days today.. last week i went in for a trans vaginal US and they told me they could not see anything.. that maybe it was to early or etopic.. according to my blood work my ob thinks its definitely etopic..im crushed... but i have another appointment today for an US and im praying that something appears n shows good signs.. im so nervous.. has anyone else gone thru this??

    Why would they not look into that further that day if they thought it was ectopic? That just sounds crazy to me. Have you had any pain or bleeding?

    This. Since ectopic can be dangerous for you I would think they would want to figure it out right away.

    i had an ectopic rupture last year- it was awful. i really had no symptoms and was not scheduled for an u/s for a few more weeks. it burst in the middle of the night. i lost my tube and almost bled to death. whatever you do- please stay on top of this and make sure you handle things before it ruptures. i am so, so sorry. it is a difficult thing to deal with. i hope everything is okay. t&p to you.

    I hope your appointment today shows the baby right where he/she should be!!
    My understanding is that very early on it's really hard to see anything on u/s to prove it's ectopic. It's just that they don't see anything in the uterus after a reasonable amount of time.

    Thanks everyone.. so i went today for another vaginal US and they saw a sac.. yeayyy right? Well, they ruled out etopic pregnancy which is a good thing but now she thinks its an abnormal pregnancy

    Super scarey n i thought it would be over with n now this. Idk what to think.. i still am holding onto whatever little bit of Faith n hope i have left that this will be a miracle baby n appear for them next week with an awesome heartbeat.. prove them wrong..
    But since doc knows what shes talking about and sounds almost positive about it being abnormal im scared n worried... next Wednesday cant come any faster..
