Intro- First IUI after MC

A little bit about me and my journey. My DH and I have been together for four years. I have never been on BC and we weren't trying but also weren't preventing. We got engaged May 2014 and began really ttc. I began to chart my cycles and established care with an ob/gyn. My DH was in a previous relationship and had been told by doctors he had an extremely low count. My new ob sent us straight to a fertility specialist. We did a SA and were told IUI may not be worth trying for us and were strongly recommended to do IVF. We had decided that we wanted to give IUI a chance. I was scheduled to start taking Clomid with my next cycle that was supposed to start at the end of November and on December 1 and AF hadnt shown her face get so I decided to take a test and got our first BFP! We were so overjoyed and couldn't believe that it happened and due to circumstances I was able to get an early ultrasound. We got to see our little angel's heartbeat and everything and were told that I was six weeks and four days along. We were so happy that we couldn't hold it to ourselves so we decided to tell all of our friends and family on Christmas. After the new year I had a follow-up ultrasound and we were told that the baby had stopped growing at seven weeks and there was no longer a heartbeat. We were so devastated and decided to take a break from trying to conceive but now we are in a new home and are ready to start trying for our family again. Day one of my cycle was Tuesday june 9th, i took clomid dayd 5-9 and have my first ultrasound for monitoring tomorrow and it all goes good our first transfer will be on Tuesday. I am so excited but also so nervous at the same time. So sorry that this is so long but this is one of the only places I feel comfortable telling my story and would love to hear everyone else's.

    We had to un-tell people too. I think that was one of the hardest parts. Sending lots of happy thoughts yor way.

    We also had to untell and even this week a month later still ask me how far along I am. That part it hard seems like every day or week there is someone else i am having to tell. hugs to you!!! I just got my first period back after the mc and we are so ready to start "not trying/not not trying" but still charting and pretty active in the process :)

    We told family and friends and deleted all pictures and things on social media and after 4 months i still get asked how baby is doing and i just want to scream! But its getting better and ttc again is helping. I went yesterday for my ultrasound and had two good flies but lining wasnt quite thick enough yet. I go in for another in the morning and if all is good transfer will be thursday. Baby dust to all!

    Welcome to the board and I'm sorry for your loss, but glad you are ready to try again.  Sorry this is so late I was on vacation.

    I think untelling people is awful so I have either DH, my mother, and MIL untell everyone for me.

    DH and I had to un-tell a lot of friends and family and work expecting it to be all well since we hit the 12 week mark. That was a horrible experience and I'm so sorry you had to go through it.
    Good luck, I hope all goes well!! Fingers crossed for yall!
