Baby wraps

pretty sure this thread has been started. But I couldn't find it. My LO is 6 wks old. I never thought I would want one. But when I see women in stores holding there LO and I'm sitting here lugging around a huge car seat, I'm jealous. Is it too late to make this large purchase? Or is my LO too far to adjust to the wrap? If not, which one do you prefer?

    I have an ergo and love it. It's not a wrap but it can be used for an infant with the infant insert.

    We have a wrap and 2 different carriers we were gifted. I don't think it's too late at all and makes things much easier! See if you have a store near you that will let you try on - then you can decide which one you want to invest in.

    We have an Eddie Bauer carrier and I have used my moby wrap a few times. I don't think any time is too late to start!

    I don't know what wrap I'm going to use yet. I tried the moby and found it really warm because of all the material.

    Just a suggestion, and I have no idea if this is an option for you or not. But I know lots of cities will have baby wearing groups that you pay a small fee (5 bucks) to borrow a carrier for a month. That way you can try it out to make sure you and LO like it before you make the investment yourself. Especially helpful because some carriers can be pretty pricey.

    Look for a baby wearing group in your area. They almost certainly have a website or Facebook page. Most groups have a lending library where you can borrow a wrap to try before buying your own. There are also buy/sell Facebook pages so you can buy a used wrap for a better price and also sell when/if you're done with it.
    Babywearing is fabulous and it's definitely not too late!

    SOLLY BABY!! I love their wraps so so much! My LO loves it too, and I started using it with him around 6 weeks also. I prefer it over the stroller and also I feel like he's more protected from germs if we're in more crowded areas. Check out their Instagram!
