Stroller for twins?

What stroller do you mamas of twins recommend? I'm looking for a side by side that can fit two infant car seats.

Re: Stroller for twins?

  • There is a thread for double strollers (I know it's not directly for twins, but STM with another little one already (like me). I have a baby jogger city select, love it! I know other mammas like this one too...just try searching for double strollers in the search function

  • I am also in the market for a double stroller for twins and I have noticed that there are very few double strollers that work for infant seats! I think we have decided to buy a stroller frame - the baby trend double frame - and use their infant seats until the little ones are big enough for a regular stroller. I would hate to buy a stroller I don't love just because it can be used with the seats. We found the stroller frame for under $60 at target!
  • Thanks ladies! I have found the same thing when searching double strollers. Many of them don't hold two infant carriers at once so it's important to specify twins :)

    Look into the city select.
  • I just have to say, we bought the Bob Revolution SE for my son when he was born, and it was such an incredible stroller, we are upgrading to the double. They fit the newborn seat, they are comfortable for the babe as they get older, and it literally goes anywhere. I've taken it through battlefields (we are history nerds), and through some very tight stores without problem. It's kind of pricey, but it holds over 100 pounds, so you could definitely use it for a very long time. :) Just my two cents.
  • I'm having this issue as well
  • If you live in a colder climate you might be able to get away with something like the stroller frame mentioned by PP. By the time it gets warm enough that you will be out a lot they might be big enough to fit some of the other double strollers. I was researching umbrella strollers today and I came across Kinderwagon and they actually have 2 doubles one that works for twins. I noticed the UPPAbaby and Mountain Buggy Duet can do twin carseats too.
  • Get a cheap frame stroller for the beginning, like the double snap n go, for when they're in car seats and get the city mini double. I had the city select and sold it for the city mini double. It's so easy and fits great through doors. I think it only takes one car seat at a time and you have to buy the separate attachment which is almost the cost of the double snap n go. I think the double snap n go was like 90 bucks. I had the city select with two car seat attachments (which each attachment was over 80 dollars) and I just used the double snap n go because it was easier. Then I just got rid of the city select because I didn't like how long it was and hated putting all the pieces in. City mini double all the way! My twins turn two in August and are very large for their age and we still use it often.

I just bought the Graco Ready2Grow. Look up the features and videos of it. Go to the store and try it out. I decided on it for my 4 year old and the coming baby. But I also nanny for a kid that will be one when baby comes. I chose this stroller because it has so many options. It fits two car seats. Can be a sit n stand. Can also fit two kiddos in seats. Also the bench seat lifts up to allow access to the basket underneath. It was the only double stroller I looked at that I could actually fit my diaper bag in the basket. It is easy to maneuver and not too heavy. Last I saw, it's on sale at Target and you get a $20 gift card with your purchase, FYI.
