Sorry but...sore nipples, anyone?

38 weeks today. All of a sudden my nipples have become sensitive/sore. This didn't happen to me with my first. Anyone experience this at this stage? Just curious!

    Same here, didn't experience this the first time but man alive sometimes the way a bra or shirt lays across them gets me. I keep wondering how bad breast feeding is going to hurt if they are this sore to begin with.

    Same here I can't even touch them because it hurts so bad... And I'm planning on breastfeeding only ! :((

    Mine did hurt the entire with my first. I had the same soreness in the beginning of this pregnancy, but it went away (thankfully). It just came back all of a sudden! I was hoping it was a sign she'd be here sooner than later! I guess it's just another fun symptom of pregnancy:)

    Mine just started hurting again. I've been using lanolin to help with dryness and sensitivity. Good luck. I, too, plan to exclusively BF and since my first was a chewer I'm worried she will be too. And the thought of them already hurting makes me very worried I'm in for raw, bleeding nipples again :((
