34.4 week baby weights

edited July 2015 in Multiples
i went yesterday to have measurements done. Baby A, Easton, is 5lbs 10 ounces and Baby B, Aubrey, is 5 lbs 8 ounces.

I'm so ready to deliver. They won't let me go past 38 weeks and won't stop delivery at this point either. I've been considerably uncomfortable these last 5 days or so.

  • Those are great weights!  At 35+3 both of my babies measured 5 lbs, 6 oz.  I'm 100% ready to deliver too - I posted the eviction notice but the babies have not gotten the message yet.  Good luck!

  • I understand the uncomfortableness for sure but please keep those babies cooking ladies! Weight is nice but they need those extra weeks for crucial development! Mine were born at 34 weeks and spent 19 & 25 days in the NICU. Hardest days of my life. My smaller one actually went home first. Just because they are big doesn't mean they have crucial breathing and sucking skills that are developed after 34 weeks. Best of luck to you in the final days of your pregnancies and your deliveries.

I second that. I had my twins at 35+3 and they both ended up with NICU time....keep them cooking!

I'm 33 + 5 and Boy A is 4lb 11o and Boy B is 5lb 2oz!! I totally understand your readiness to be done! But of course I want them to stay in there- but I am dreading how I will feel in another month. Whew! We scheduled our c section today so this is really feeling real now!
