That's the only bad part about it, is you spend all that time and money setting up gender themed everything, only to have to start over.. Or dress your little son in pink...
Back when my mom was having me and my brothers, they wouldn't pick colors even if they were told boy or girl because it was so inaccurate, we have better technology now, but her whole pregnancy with my brother, she was told he was a girl. Lol.
I bet she'll get lots of "boy" clothing as gifts, a lot of other things can still be used, and they'll have a great story to tell! It would be quite the initial shock, though!
"Excuse me, this isn't the baby I was expecting so we'll just go now."
No haha. Of course, it would be a HUGE surprise especially after decorating the nursery a certain way (my baby's name is Luke and has a Star Wars themed nursery) and clothes.
It would be such a surprise to everyone to just say, "So this happened.." Reactions to that would be the best. Yeah, you would just learn to roll with it
When we choose to find out gender and rely on that info, there's always a risk it could be wrong. It's just how it goes. My close friend had a high risk pregnancy with 10+ US's all of which determined they were having a boy and she gave birth to a beautiful little girl.
