With my DD, we failed two NSTs at 41 weeks and were induced. My induction took 3 days, complete with my in-laws showing up uninvited, so I really want to avoid a repeat of that experience. I am thinking about doing a membrane strip a couple of days prior to my scheduled NST, so that I can avoid the induction this time, or at least prep my cervix a little. Is it even worth the effort? Has anyone had success with a membrane strip? How long did it take to work?
Re: What are your thoughts are thoughts on membrane stripping at 41 weeks, to avoid an induction?
