Hello ladies
10 years ago today I pressed snooze on my alarm one too many times and I had to run to catch the train. Instead of the front, I got on the back of the tube train at Aldgate station. 2 minutes after the train left the station, the bomber at the front of the oncoming train blew himself up, destroying the front of my train
I don't know the names of the people in my carriage who I spent the next 4 hours with, or the name of the landlady of the pub who looked after us after we were rescued, but they were such selfless and caring people.
London is my hometown and I love it so much. I could have died that day, but I was so lucky and now I'm sat here with a new life growing inside me. So I'd like to ask if you don't mind, for you to take a moment today to think about the 52 people who lost their lives and the 700 who were injured on this day 10 years ago.
Re: NBR - London Bombings - a time to remember
Definitely thinking and remembering today x
My thoughts are with you and all of London.
I remember watching it all unfold.
Thinking of you and remembering that day in London today.
