Best Husband Ever?!

My DH has been on the move to make me the happiest woman ever! I've been having frequent BH the last week and less baby movement the last couple days, so he gave me two prenatal massages today and made me a delicious cup of coffee after I had some quite time. Baby is up and moving just as she should. And I couldn't be more in love with this man!

What have your DH's or SO's done to help you relax this pregnancy?

  • DH is finally painting the crib today, love that slacker of a man:)

I'm dying to get ours painted but it's rained all week long. (Planning on doing the work outside) hopefully this week we'll get somewhere.

Took me and our daughter to Maui for a week. We stayed at a 5-star resort. He set up an outdoor prenatal massage and facial and I relaxed like it was no ones business. Best vacation I had in a while and we have had some really top notch vacays. He did so good

Yay for you! He did great!

We were in a villa at the Montage in Kapula Bay. I enjoyed it so much. I have been to Hawaii 7 times, but never pregnant and never pampered so much so this was extra cool lol
  • Mine waits on me hand and foot. Haha. I'm taking full advantage. He also helped with supper last night. This morning I was exhausted after hearing fireworks in our subdivision most of the night and be let me sleep in (we never skip church but...). Now he's headed to get us some supper because I'm still being lazy. :)

Going to Hawaii and not being able to have guava mimosas on the flight over or napua punch or Mai tais would be torture to me, but I would still take it over not going! Haha
  • He made me breakfast in bed this morning, rubs my feet like 3 times a day, and likes to do it;p.. Constantly reminds me of how he thinks I'm the most beautiful woman in the world, helps clean the house, takes me places to get out of the house, picked out a coming home dress for baby! Lol He's always more than understanding when I'm tired, grumpy, whiney, or just plain lazy.;p An all around wonderful Husband!
  • Friday I had started to do some deep cleaning and rearrange our bedroom to fit baby's bed in there, but I started cramping so badly that I spent the rest of the day on the couch. On Saturday he moved all of the furniture I wanted moved, vacuumed, and cleaned up the dogs bed.

Yesterday DH went to the grocery store and brought back stuff to make s'mores because he know I love them.

The other day he said that he needed to sit down for a min (he's been doing a lot of work on our house) and when I opened up our pack and play box, he ended up putting the whole thing together for me.

    My heart is full.

  • I love my husband but I've spoiled him too much over the years :P  I'm still taking care of both of us, but I am starting to wear down quickly.  I've been doing pretty well the entire pregnancy but now my feet are hurting SO bad.  The good news is he isn't on my case to get chores done. Basically I think he understands now that I'm not feeling so great so it will get done when I feel like doing it.
  • DH has been helping maintain the whole house cleaning, cooking, etc. All ive really had to do is fold laundry. He puts everything in and out of the washer and dryer and then I fold and he puts away!

DH has been getting on my last damn nerve lately. Nonetheless, I'm glad yours is being great

    THIS.

He got a new (used) 4wheeler a month or so ago and has been riding every weekend (and after work some days). My birthday is this Tuesday and my family always has us come to them to celebrate anything. I told them I simply wasn't up for the 2 hr drive one way to eat lunch, so they made a weekend of it--went to my sister's house yesterday and our house today. Husband pouted all day about not getting to go ride his toy another town over (this is the first time my parents have been to our house since we bought it a year ago). He even mentioned going to ride with friends after we ate lunch even though parents were still at the house. When I said no (I never tell him no--which is probably the problem), he decided to take off work tomorrow so he could go ride. I feel it is important to mention that he "can't" take off work a few hours on Tuesday (my birthday) to eat lunch and go to Dr appt with me since it is the beginning of the month and he works in sales.
  • My DH works out of town at the mine, 2 hours away, so he stays down there during his shifts (which lately he's been doing over time so we only see him about 10 days out of the month) but when he does come home the first thing he tells me is how beautiful I look, then helps with anything needed. Lately though he has been so patient with my emotional outbursts, especially when I cry he just lays there with me and holds me, which is the best feeling ever.
  • I think it's really neat how (a lot of) men get when their wife is pregnant;p It's almost indescribable, until you experience it first-hand. Hubby is so patient when I'm cranky, and offers to help me even with the most random little things (because to him, I'm delicate). There's something about the way they look at you, like they just adore you, and your cute little baby bump.;3 Hubby is also more protective, which is refreshing, b/c being pregnant makes me feel that much more vulnerable! It's just precious to know that you're in the good hands of someone who loves you so much, and thinks you're adorable and cute!;) (Even when you're feeling like a beached whale! lol)
  • My hubs isn't a full on flowers chocolates bubble baths type of guy, but he's quietly supportive, never mentions it when I skip some chores cause I feel bad, runs around after our 2 year old and never complains. Dont get me wrong he can be a royal pain in the behind but I wouldn't swap him for anything! Oh and he's got the whole nesting thing totally covered - I went to see Magic Mike xxxl on Friday and came home to a sparkly clean oven and painted kitchen walls! Yay!
  • Bought me watermelon!! A huge one. Oh yes. Food is totally the way to my heart right now.. Especially if it's watermelon
  • Mine started washing the sink full of dirty dishes for me the other day because I was too tired and overwhelmed to touch them. My midwife mentioned I need to up my protein, and he's made it his mission to see that I eat well. And we finally decided on a name--Aliyah Faith--and he loves calling her by her name.
  • It's so nice reading about all the great daddy-to-be's out there :)
