Ugh so jealous that you'll meet your sweet baby today. Slept a whole three hours and have to try to be quiet so hubby can sleep. I'm so tired of entertaining myself all night then being exhausted all day. I have a Dr appointment today, my 40 week appointment. Praying I don't make it to another appointment...

Strong, painful BH contractions woke me for the seventh night in a row. At least the sun will soon rise! I am reading "The Time Traveler's Wife" and will spend the day working on paintings for the nursery. We packed the hospital bag yesterday, finally, at 38+4. Only 9 more days to go!

@Jkp7749 I know what you mean. I am up at night trying to entertain myself. But I am not 40 weeks yet. I hope you don't make it to another appointment either lol.

I am 37 weeks and 3 days! I also have a doctor's appointment. They are doing another sonogram to measure the baby growth, since she is measuring bigger than supposed to and I am a little nervous about it. Hopefully everything turns out fine.

I don't feel like getting out of bed or doing anything today. For the first time I feel really down and sad today. I'm going to blame it on the gloomy weather. I really need to motivate myself to get some cleaning and organizing some before baby comes, but I keep procrastinating.

I think I'll just lounge in bed a while longer and say it is becaue my feet and huge and need to rest to bring the swelling down!

Good luck today @corndogrobot !!! Today I'm going to hear back from my Dr about my lab work for cholestasis and will find out if little miss will be making her appearance early or not depending on the levels! Hoping everything is ok & she can cook longer, but also ready for her to be here!!

38.2 today and not doing much. My plan was to go for a walk this morning with my pup but I didn't sleep last night! I tossed and turned all night because of excruciating hip pain and cramps. I'm so over being in pain everyday! I think I'll lay around and watch shark week hoping my baby decides to come out soon.

Ugh, why did I make my appointment for 8:45am?!? Thus sucks, I have no desire to make my way over there, sit around on my bare butt waiting for my OB, then have him tell me "nothing's happening"......39 weeks now, I better hear, "oh ssh*t I can totally feel baby's head" lol

count down went from 9 months to 10 days left as of today ! I'm excited and nervous lol can't wait to meet my lil baby girl!!!

I'm laying back in my rocking chair because any movement in bed hurts like hell. I really just want to eat and sleep and be pain free. Can't wait to meet this little guy! The good thing is 8 more days if he doesn't show up on his own. Being induced next Tuesday and I can't wait! And now I'm starving

Baby has been particularly active the last couple of days. Hoping she's revving up and preparing to bust out! 39+2 today...and on my first day of mat leave...planning on staying in the bed until at least noon.

Feeling completely exhausted today. At last week's appointment I was told LO wasn't measuring big enough so we set up an ultrasound for this afternoon. I spent all weekend trying not to worry about her. Then last night I woke up around 3 and could not get her to move at all. She normally will kick if I push on her butt no matter what time of day it is. She just wouldn't respond to anything! After an hour of drinking cold water and getting maybe three small twitches from her, I called the doctor. She told me to eat something and give it thirty minutes. LO started kicking with a vengeance about halfway through my yogurt. At this point DH and I had been up and around the house for over an hour and we both had to get up for work in about two hours. I felt so terrible for freaking both of us out! I can't wait for the US today to hopefully tell us everything is ok! I need to be able to stop worrying so much so I can sleep again!

Officially 37 weeks today, so I'm ok if this lil guy is ready to make an appearance. I have not felt any B&H or contractions at all and haven't been checked for any softening on dilation but my hips have been hurting so i'm assuming things are going in the right direction. I'm just hoping this baby isn't as big as they're predicting.

First day of maternity leave at 39+3 and I'm bored out of my mind. I've cleaned everything I can think of and have too much energy to lay in bed! Hoping little man comes soon!

Second stress test today.
Sleeping made even more impossible by my aching back, if I lay down for too long it hurts.

Omg poor thing! I would be too if I was passed my due date that many days! I hope your LO makes its appearance soon!

My plan to keep busy today is to go buy a few last minute items to take to the hospital. I'm having a c-section Friday and I don't have enough gowns to wear. I had only bought one before finding out about the section. I also need to buy some groceries, pets supplies, etc. I've been taking things easy lately as I don't want this baby to come before the scheduled c-section, which I don't think he will cause I have no symptoms of labor at all. I've been feeling pretty great actually!!!

Good luck to everyone that are scheduled to have their LO's today! Can't wait to see the updates and pictures!

I just started making a to do list yesterday because I'm so on top of things (36 +4, due with my 2nd boy on the 30th!!! Aka, an eternity away). I vacuumed out my car a little while ago & got a load of laundry into the wash. After 10 mins I was not only sweating profusely, but also having some pretty legit contractions too. Decided that was my cue to give up on productivity so now I'm sitting down with my 21 month old under a blasting ceiling fan. Hope we all pop soon!

37+4 today. Saw my whole family this weekend and they couldn't stop staring at my belly and cankles and saying 'oh you look so uncomfortable'. Gee thanks family.

I made a pitcher of raspberry leaf tea and a batch of dark chocolate brownies this morning. Hoping that combo will make me feel less uncomfortable. Also made a batch of egg/sausage/broccoli breakfast in a muffin cup for DH as he wants to start eating healthier. Hope they turn out ok.

I'm waiting to be called for my weekly appt. Trying to accept the powerlessness of the pregnancy. I figure if I surrender to the fact that I am not in control that will help me mentally.
I got pretty uncomfortable last night. Strong contractions that started at my lower back that made the top of my belly, lower belly, and legs hurt. It woke me out of my slp. And the nausea! Those were 5-6 min apart that lasted almost 2 hrs. Then stopped. Couldn't bare getting sent home from LDR again. I'm sure they would've had to call a code gray or somethong.
Hoping to have a relaxing day...or give birth. Woosah.

Went to doctors appointment today I am 38 weeks 2 days but measure 41 weeks. Not dialated and just starting to efface. Baby's head is into position and even lower than last time.

@smccall3838 so crazy how your contractions are within the "active" labor parameters and then they just stop. Code Grey! Lmao!

@jespernoir 2 hours of public transit? That sounds tiring already... and NOT fun!

Ran a bunch of errands yesterday - still returning stuff from the baby showers, using random gift cards. Got home and started to pack the hospital bags... Didn't finish, though! All the while, my LO was super active. I figured because I was being super active but even when I slowed down, rested on the couch, then went to bed, he was still squirming around in there...36+6 today so no rushing the LO.

Gotta go to work today so trying not to do too much right now. Really don't feel like it ... But since there's AC, I go for walks in the halls to get my exercise in.

40 weeks today and my stomach has been upset since last night. After using the restroom multiple times I started feeling better (sorry tmi). Then I ate. Now my stomach hurts again and I feel nauseous. Are there any STM who felt something similar before labor? I'm hoping it's a sign because it's very annoying.

I do not have to go to anymore appointments! My Dr is going to induce! She tried to schedule for tmw but they didn't have anything open until friday! She said to call her tmw and see if anything has changed and they could get me in sooner! Pray they do BC I know Friday is close but when she offered tmw I got so very excited!

@sarahlynn42, I've been nauseous, constipated, and have had loose movememts. But I'm still pregnant. So...could be nerves, body acting to clear bowels, or just a stomach thing. Wish I was in a cheery-er place. I'm hoping we all go into labor this instant (for those of us who are full term and just OVER being a host to our precious parasites!!!)

I'm 37w5d and had a few contractions on Sunday but other than that, nothing. Definitely pelvic pressure and she has dropped. Crazy to think that at this point with my DD, she came on her own the next day. My induction is scheduled for next Friday so I'm trying to take comfort that I have 11 days or less before I get to meet her!

So I had a doctor appointment this afternoon and I am soft and 50% effaced at 38w5d .... I know it could mean nothing and I could stay this way for a while yet, but it's nice to know there has been some progress!!!

Been very tired lately as I find I don't actually start a deep sleep till about 5am, the first 5 hours are tossing and turning and running to the washroom. And then I'm up an hr later for work, ugh. I'm 37+1 today but baby is measuring in around 7lbs so not much room left in there! Hoping my last US and ob appt on Wednesday tells me some good news that baby girl has a-flipped and don't need a CS or b-is still breech and they give me my CS date so I can start the countdown!! Getting so close!!!

As for me I'm 40+3 today and miserable/bitchy. I was rudely woken up multiple times (I have trouble sleeping to begin with so scaring me awake when I'm actually asleep doesn't help). The first time it was so loud that it woke little man and he went all jerky karate in my stomach and then wouldn't stop moving. So needless to say I haven't slept much and wanted to punch our roommate in the face.

Hubby is at work so I'm gonna head to the pool and get relief from the intense pelvic pressure and horrible back pain

Hopefully we all who are close or overdue pop soon!!
