I took our DD to the Dr on Thursday for her wellness check-up. She's growing really well, but she gave he Dr a shock. She is already teething, and she's not even 3 weeks old yet. Dr says it could take a while for the teeth to break through the gums. But our DD is so miserable and I can't find anything that helps her with her teething pains. Orajel and teething rings aren't doing any good. HELP please!!! What can I do?????

Let her suck on a cold, wet wash cloth. If she takes a paci you can put that in the fridge/freezer. DS liked cold milk when teething but he was quite a bit older. I hope you find something that works!
I'm not able to use any pain/teething meds. I'm not even supposed to use very much orajel. Not sue what to do...... (

My neighbor has a 3 month old and he's technically teething, but what that means (for him at least) is that he's a good 6-9 months from having a tooth erupt according to his pediatrician, but I guess the teeth can move around under the gums this early to get positioned and the baby is like, really drooly and fussy but that's the extent of it.
