Watching paint dry

I have the worst baby fever. Ive had it for months and its only getting worse. DH and I are waiting until end of August to start TTC. I decided to re paint some of the rooms in our house to distract me. I am literally watching paint dry. Any one else dying to start trying??

    Im having my Mirena taken out on Monday, and I was all "Im totally gonna be casual about it this time around and not worry about how long it takes"....yeah. That's already down the drain. Im dying for Monday to get here and I have to keep reminding myself it took 7 cycles for me to get pregnant the first time, so it could be awhile before it actually happens! Waiting is for the birds!

    I have baby fever on and off. But I just started a new job and it would be way to stressful to be pregnant/have a newborn during my first year. So DH and I have agreed to wait 1.5 years before TTC. Some days, it's miserable waiting. But I try to find hobbies and focus on upcoming trips to get through the wait.

    I am right there with you! It has taken me awhile to get back to this point, but we are in the midst of prepping. New house-check!

    I'm so in the same boat as you. I got my Mirena out today but we're waiting until December to start ttc. That's going to be such a long time! We're moving in June so I'd like to make sure we have a baby after that, moving with a newborn sounds complicated.

    DH wants to wait til May, yeah right. I'm trying to wait til September. I have tried everything to distract me. I booked a vacation, running 4 days a week and training for a 1/2 marathon in October. I even shipped my niece out here for the summer. Nothing is working. My niece actually said the day she got here that she wished we had a baby... I just about died. I said something stupid about them being expensive and moved on.. I told DH and he was like... yea? Lets make one... lol I'm trying to hold out til September. 2 months, Damn.

    Oo I also booked an expensive 250$ hair appointment to get my mind off babies... did not work at all

    It's good to know I'm not the only one. DH has very logical reasons for waiting a bit but I have been ready for a while. I am running out of things to occupy my mind. It doesn't help that my 4 year old keeps talking about wanting a baby!!!

    I just came off of Amethia and my husband and I are waiting three months before we start trying. Meanwhile, I have baby fever. We have been together 13 years (married for just under 2 of them) and we both want a baby. It's hard when you feel like everyone around you is getting pregnant - haha.

    I'm with you!  I have three rooms that I want to paint before summer ends.  We're aiming for December for TTC so I'm keeping myself busy until that time with plenty of distractions but every time I see a baby the fever spikes!

    @amg1004 I totally know what you mean. Seeing my friends having babies makes it so much worse. I'm so happy for them, but it's killing me slowly.

    @mrsp2213 I have now painted my kitchen twice.. husband says I can only paint our room and I'm not allowed to paint any more. Lol. Little does he know that once painting is done he'll be helping me move the 4 year old to another room.
