anyone else saying this is the last baby

I know I am a young mother I will be 24 when I have my second baby .....I am thinking about getting my self fixed but all my friends think I am crazy because of my age.I am also scared about it because I did my research online and we'll you guys know how that go's some time ......just wanted to know if there are some other mothers thinking that this is the last pregnancy

We're in the "maybe" boat. We want to see how our finances are after the baby comes, since I'll be quitting my job. Have you considered a more long-term birth control option, like an IUD or Implanon? 24 seems very young to take permanent measures.

I agree with @kmcconnell22, look into long term birth controls. An extremely high percentage of women who get a permanent sterilization before the age of 30 have regrets. If in 10 years you still don't want kids you can make it permanent then.

I have two and am stopping at three. I already talked to the doctors and they will take care of things when in there for the csection. Have you talked to your doctor? I know my mom was young when she had hers done and the doctors made her wait a year first because she was so young.

I haven't talked to my doctor yet I already have a 3 year old and she a hand full it freaks me out about having two kids ....and my husband only wants 2 kids if the doctor tells me I have to wait then I will just wait as long as she says I have to .....for me a IUD is out of question

This is my first and last. I'm 33 and will be 34 when I deliver. Hubs will be 37 at delivery. I've been so sick, I can't fathom trying to keep after a little one and going through that again. We may consider adoption, but definitely not getting pregnant again. Plus it took us almost three years to conceive.

This is #3 and most likely out last. We thought we were going to stop at 2 but decided to go for 3 this fall. I had Paraguard for almost 2 years and loved it.

I will probably get another one after this one until the baby is around 3 and then my husband will get a vasectomy.

I am 26 and this is my first... And my last.
I don't think I would be able to do this again. I can't wait to meet my little one but I feel exhausted already, emotionally and physically.

Maybe I will change my mind in the future but for now I think I will be ok with just one kid.

I haven't really thought about me taking BC. Would really like my hubs to get a vasectomy. My thought process is if I'm going through child birth, he can share a little!

This is my 2nd child and will be last pregnancy ... Hopefully! I never want to go through the first trimester ever again. Further down the road, we plan to foster children.

This is my second. It will be our last. I will be 36 when this baby is born and our first will be almost 6. Getting pregnant has always been a struggle for us and I am NOT doing morning sickness again!!!! I've already told my husband that he is getting a vasectomy unless for some reason I would need a C section this time around. Then they could just take care of it while I'm opened up.

I've thought about getting a tubal after this one, but not positive I'll be 24 once this baby is here also. My hubby said he would get the V when we decide that we are finished having kids. I think it depends if we have a boy or a girl this time. I do not take birth control anymore because of the side effects, but I also don't want to use condoms for years until we decide.

This is our second, and we're all set! Hubs will get the V, my body doesn't do well on birth control.

We originally decided we were one-and-done, so the fact that we're having a second (planned!) is pretty monumental for us! We're absolutely ecstatic that we've decided to do it again. And our first is floating on cloud nine waiting to meet his sibling. It feels like such a magical time for us

This is our third and last. We will have our hands and house full. I'm having another c-section with this one, but I refuse to get my tubes tied. I'm just not comfortable doing it. I told my husband it's his turn. I'm working on getting him to agree to a vasectomy. I've done more than my share.

My 3rd pregnancy, our 5th kid. (Hubs brought a few with him that we have full time). I'm 35. Tubes are getting tied. We get pregnant rather easily. Lol. So 5 and done.

I would have been your age when I had my 2nd and I had a boy and a girl I was scheduled to get my tube tied and now I'm glad I chickened out . My husband cheated on me after 8 years of marriage and I now have a wonderful fiance who didn't have any kids so I'm thankful I can give him a child. Plus a vasectomy is easier

That's one thing that scares me but I could never have a child with another man. My feelings for that are very strong and a lot of people will not like or under stand my feeling on that ......but it really never crossed my mind on him getting a v untell I made this post

This is our 4th and I am definatelty done. I thought I was done after 2 but at 26 I was told I was too young to decide! I suffered terribly with PND so I was certain I didn't want any more. I had a copper coil for 5 years but tested pregnant a couple of times during which amounted to nothing so I don't like the idea that you can still fertilise an egg and it can implant only to be "knocked off" later! IMO it does cause an early miscarriage - I don't think I can live with doing that again. I can't do hormones and I'm allergic to latex so it's fun and games for us! I am so pleased I didn't get fixed at 26 because I desperately wanted our 3rd due to a 7 year age gap - I finally was allowed my baby (took a while to convince hubby). We hadn't even thought about the future when BAM I'm pregnant again after an accidental mishap. But I am pleased now as the little one will have a playmate closer her age. But 4 and I am done.

We are in the "maybe" category. DH has really only every wanted 2, although we have semi-discussed more. But I have Hyperemesis with my pregnancies, and it's rough, but I love babies and kids... We also live in an area where the job market is full of part-time, minimum wage jobs, and we just can't survive with only DH working. So, we'll see what happens...

This is our second and likely last. H doesn't want anymore and I don't think I can handle another 1st tri. I am not willing to get my tubes tied and H is not really keen on a V so we'll have to work something out because I haven't been on birth control since Jan 2012 and I don't want to go back on it really.
