White blood count

in 2nd Trimester
has anybody's white blood count in urine been exceptionally high? Mine is, midwife didn't say anything about it and it was only a few days ago I started googling my results and found out they were high. I've got an appointment with my consultant on Monday so going to ask him

    Leukocytes in your urine indicate a urinary tract infection. Make sure you ask your doctor about it as they may have overlooked it. You should be started on antibiotics. UTIs are very common in pregnant women, nothing to worry about- just needs to be treated.

    This isnt necessarily true. Discharge can cause white cells in your urine. Leucocytes + nitrites confirm a urinary tract infection. Just leucocytes indicated a possibility. In pregnancy some treat anyway due to risks. Otherwise urine will need to be sent to the lab to be cultured for confirmation
