Things I miss about not being pregnant

Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my little baby and I know once he is born I am going to miss feeling his little kicks and wiggles inside of me. Let's all be honest though, there is definitely a long list of things I will not miss about being pregnant!
1. Having to ask my fiance to paint my toe nails and shave my legs
2. Heartburn
3. Very irregular bathroom problems. It's either one extreme or the other and I really miss that grey area!
4. Not being able to Sleep on my back
5. Swollen everything!

  • I miss being able to sleep on my stomach and being able to take Aleve for my back and hip pain.
  • Not to be annoying, but your subject is misleading. It reads "things I miss about not being pregnant".. Based on your content it should be "things I will miss about being pregnant"?

    Why would I miss anything on my list? They're all issues I did not experience before becoming pregnant. I miss not having those issues and cannot wait until I am no longer pregnant so the issues go away.

    I think you misunderstood her. The title of your post implies that this post will be about things you miss from the time when you weren't pregnant. Like wine, long walks on the beach, sushi, hiking Mt. Everest, etc. but in your posting you made a list of thing you won't miss about being pregnant like swelling, strange BMs, not fitting into any of your shoes, etc. That's all she was saying. I think @kedbach just left out the word "not" in the lower end of her post so that's where it got confusing. :-)

    Either way.... We all knew what the post was supposed to be about..... I'm ready to have my emotions and my body back :)
  • I'm not much of a drinker but ohhh how cold beers have been calling my name this summer :) Also can't wait to be able to breath normally, walk faster and not have a big ol' belly
  • Normal sex. Alcohol. Sushi.
  • Cold cuts, raw cookie dough (even though I know you're not supposed to eat it anyways), sleeping on my back, and breathing normally.
  • I miss wine, soft cheeses, fitting into my work shoes, my cute bras, being able to get in and out of my car easily, being able to get in and out of my pants easily... LOL. The list goes on.

  • I will NOT miss the 3 inches of my lower belly sticking out at times from under my shirt....EMBARASSING!
    WILL NOT miss the CONSTANT comments of "when are you due? You are GOING TO POP ANY MINUTE!"
    WILL NOT MISS hemmeroids....
    WILL NOT MISS running after my 4 boys soon to be 5, with a HUGE BELLY
  • 1. Sleep
    2. No random pains
    3. Control over my own diet
    4. (just being honest) feeling sexy and confident
    5. No constant anxiety about when the baby will come!
  • Constantly gaining weight, frequent doctors appointments, getting out of breath, swelling, and sleeping on my side
  • I miss bladder control, wine, sex, cute bras that fit, sleeping without waking all through the night, sitting on a couch without the beached whale feeling, grilled chicken which now makes me want to puke. I will miss all the little kicks once it's over but at least I should have wine and sex again.
  • Cold cuts, raw cookie dough (even though I know you're not supposed to eat it anyways), sleeping on my back, and breathing normally.
