Just went to bathroom, BLEEDING??

I am pg with triplets and just went to bathroom and I am bleeding like I am about to start?  Just called doctor's office and they are supposed to call me back.  Did anyone else have this?  I am freaking out!

Re: Just went to bathroom, BLEEDING??

  • the only advise I have for you is relax, drink some water and put your feet up while you wait for the doc to call you back. Please keep us posted. Good luck.

  • Good luck. I hope everything is ok. Can someone take you to the doctor? I would only do this on a rare occasion, but my belief is that if you are in their lobby they have to deal with you. I'll be thinking about you.
  • This happened to me around 12 weeks, it was from placenta previa and everything turned out okay. If they don't call back within an hour, I would call again. Good luck and try to stay calm.
  • i'm sorry, that must be so scary! :( i hope all is okay, please let us know. in the meantime, lay down and try to relax. easier said than done.

  • It might be a subchorionic hemorrhage. This has been happening to me starting last week. Apparently this is very common, especially with multiples (my peri said his office sees it between 3-10 times a day). There are lots of women on this board who have bleeding during pregnancy and the babies are fine (including mine). I am still spotting on and off and my peri just told me yesterday that it will continue. Like a pp said, drink a lot of water, lay down, and try to relax (not easy, I know).
  • I had some around 8 weeks. The dr said its normal to have some. Please let us know what happens. I know how scary it can be. Oh not to change the subject you should join the NC board.
  • Yes it happened to me. ?I had a few bleeding episodes early on and ended up on bed rest because of it. ?Try not to worry!!!
  • I had a bleeding episode in each trimester, scared the crap out of me but it was nothing out of the ordinary. Call your Doc and try to get in for u/s just for your own piece of mind.

  • I had a bleeding episode in the first trimester. It ended up being undiagnosed. I had a quiet, problem free pregnancy for the remainder. Delivered by scheduled csection at 37.3 weeks. I will be thinking of you. KUP
