Kicks... down there?

So I am definitely feeling movement daily now. And every so often, I feel it in my cervix-ish area... is this baby movement? Or just some other weird pregnancy side effect?

Actually I've been wondering this too. With my first I never felt kicks to the cervix this early. This time all the kicks are super low! I pretty much only feel the baby kicking down there. Knowing what it feels like I will say that's probably what you're feeling.

The super low "kicks" may be lightning crotch. It's a thing. Look it up. I thought the ladies here made up the name, but it's all over google but as a 3rd tri symptom.

Mine are super-low this time around as well, it's really weird. There was a post about low lying babes just yesterday, so it should be in the last few pages. A few people have said that they are feeling it way down.

My baby is breech right now so all my movements are very low. Also I have no idea what lightning crotch is but I bet it's worth a search!

Lightning crotch is a shooting pain! Light lightning.

Mine has been light taps and kicks. I also had hiccups down there yesterday.

Found out at ultrasound that baby is WAY lower than i thought, basically by my groin/pubic bone, so yours probably is too. No idea why my stomach is so huge since hes not up there!

Almost all of the movements I've felt so far have been in the pelvic area. Occasionally they are a bit higher (closer to my belly button) but almost everything I've felt so far has been low, so I'd say that's probably not unusual.

I feel those as well, also if I have anything in my bladder he seems to think it's fun to kick it. I feel kicks from above my belly button to down in my low pelvic area. Also to PP your stomach is big because all your organs are being displaced by your expanding uterus! My doc told me this! Lol Also for me I'm 5 feet tall with a very short abdomen. The only place baby has to go is out! Lol

Lucky for me, I haven't gotten kicked too many times yet. It seems like this kiddo enjoys his stretches though - it feels like he's regularly reaching his toes to his mouth while leisurely stroking the middle of my abdomen - leading to a very interesting rippling feeling.

Lol. I call this "painting the wall." It feels like baby's in there with a paint roller very deliberately going from side to side or up and down.

Mine are super low, and hit a weird pressure point. I sometimes feel like I can basically feel a foot! Haha x

Lol I like that. For a while I was actually concerned it was Braxton hicks since it was almost always the exact same motion. Then one day I flopped down on my bed after having been really still for a while and he decided to "paint" every single wall in quick succession. Oops - sorry buddy

I have a very very active baby girl who sits very low most the time. She is breach currently and the mix of kicks Braxton hicks and some slight lightning crotch, it's very active down in that area almost 24/7! I had to ask at my ultrasound Tuesday if it was the baby that low or if it was all in my head haha.

Haha, good one. This is by far my favorite feeling so far. It's amazing that I can actually feel how big she is when she moves like that. The majority of the time I just feel kicks, but once in a while when I'm laying in bed I can feel her stretching and rolling.

Is that what it is?? Omg! No wonder the tech had me pull my pants down to my vagina. My baby is sitting real low too and I have felt "kicks" just above my who ha. Or something around there. I was wondering why I haven't felt anything yet.

Baby likes to stretch out vertically sometimes which makes for an uncomfortable feeling down there sometimes lol. But it's definitely baby!

Found out the other day that baby is sitting really low for me as well. He was sitting so far down on my cervix that we may have to have a third anatomy scan to check his heart and the bottom of his spine! It was really funny to see him with his feet at his forehead and trying to stick his whole hand in his mouth lol. But, that definitely explained why the majority of the movements I feel are SO low in my pelvis

My Dr said wow baby is really high. But is also breach so I feel movement low and to the left and sometimes straight down.

My little girl seems to like being transverse (sideways) right now, with her feet on the left and her butt at my cervix. I've pretty much only felt kicks near my left pelvic bone, but I did get a big 'thump' to my lady parts a few days ago! Hoping she doesn't keep that up!
