I have been putting this off....and off....and off some more, because frankly, it's a little overwhelming. But with shower invitations going out soon(ish), I really need to get a move on.
I do really well with check lists...have you ladies found any really good and thorough lists of everything to register for? I dont mean like product review sites...but just a general list of this and that?
Re: The dreaded registry
However, I agree with having an experienced mom look over the list and help you narrow it down. Some of the suggested items are nice to have but not essential (a glider, bottler warmer), and some are not worth the money.
When all was said and done we had 118 items on our registry and that's without a crob, glider and dresser as we have gotten/are getting those off of wayfair.com. I told the lady at BRU that I felt our list was a bit excessive and she said it's actually good to have that many items because it allows people to have plenty of options in all different price points.
The most expensive things we registered for was a travel system stroller/car seat which is $300, a pack n play for $170, a video baby monitor for $200, Finding Nemo crib bedding set for $150 i think and a high chair for $150.
Everything else is $50 and under all the way down to like $2 items and $5 items
Also- @FrozenMommy-i love your realistic no frills approach! Takes the pressure off!
