Hey Mamas!
This was going to be a post to see it anyone had any good hand lotion recommendations because my fingers look like lizards. But I'd love to hear what you're doing, wearing, or using that is making you feel great during this endeavour.
Also any lotion recommendations would be appreciated

Mine will be my flat iron, lame I know. But something about having sleek polished hair makes me think I look good even if I'm feeling like a moose.
Re: GTKY: What makes you feel beautiful?
Just kidding... Well kind of ... Sometimes... Hmm
I do my hair and make up then I feel pretty (: ! I find pregnancy has really broke out my skin and I'm not liking it. I use my hydrocortisone cream and then galaxal base for a moisturizer because my skin is so damn sensitive !!
What I recommend is coconut oil, 100% organic, unrefined, and virgin. If your hands are scaly and super dry you only need a small amount. It's so moisturizing, natural and antimicrobial. Other uses are abundant as well. I cook with it, put it in my dogs food, swish it in my mouth for teeth sensitivity and whitening. Love, love it.
ETA: it's also a great deep conditioner and hair moisturizer!
As for what makes me feel beautiful:
My DH every single day has something nice, positive, and uplifting to say. He's my #1 cheerleader and his abundance of love and optimism is a serious confidence booster. Also getting my toes done and a long hot shower.
As for what makes me feel beautiful , my girlfriends! I am the last of my group to have a baby and the kind words and excitement they have for me is incredible. My Hubs is very supportive as well
Also I bought some great well fitting designer maternity clothes at A Pea in the Pod .
And as for my beauty routine, I've been making my own salt/sugar scrubs. It's really relaxing and so far they've been working!
As far as feeling beautiful, I love when I find the motivation to put on a full face of makeup. And when I shave my legs really well.
When im having an off day, I'll just spend some more time on my makeup that i normally barely bother with.
Also, maternity outfits helped a lot. Getting out of those sweatpants and into some cute clothes was one of the best days this year, instant boost!!
What makes me feel beautiful from within is looking at my son. My beautiful little boy whom everyone says looks like me. Especially when he looks me right in the eye and grins.
A good haircut! I always feel like I have an extra bounce in my step after coming out of the salon...nothing fancy, just a cut and blow dry, but man, my hairdresser never disappoints, even if we change the style, she always gets it right! Sadly, I can never duplicate the same coiffed look the next day. :-/
@slhawkins25 @amberrmariee20 I second the coconut oil...on hair, skin, cuticles....AH-mazing stuff.
I actually feel most beautiful when I'm comfortable, and right now that means my leggings and this one tank top -- both pieces flatter so well, but are insanely comfy, so I feel like a million bucks! OR when I pop on a pair of heels. I'm 5'10", so it's not like I need the height, but damn if my legs don't look good and my confidence doesn't sky rocket!
