New Toys!!!

My new stroller will be here on the 7th!! I can't wait to play with it! Lol! Baby gadgets are so fun!

What new toys are you excited to get and mess with while you anxiously awake the arrival of your new bundle? :-bd

    My mind went straight to the gutter because (again) that dreaded baby bump app. Yesterday, someone posted a question about where people hide their "toys" once they have kids, so they don't find them and play with them. Like really? Is this real life? I personally have no toys because, well, I have my husband. :D That app just reminds me of why I hate people. Hahaha.

    Are you on there too? Some people, goodness! It is quite entertaining sometimes though, which is why I still peruse and occasionally comment. I never post on there though, I'm not convinced of the level of intelligence of some.

    But onto baby gadgets, I'm about to break out my combo stroller & car seat from the box! We've had it for 5 months and put it away with the rest of our stockpile! I'm excited! I wanna break out the swing & bouncy seat, but we need the room still!

    I was thinking baby toys lol like rattles and blocks and such...I was a sheltered child. O:-) I am excited to get this mural on the wall painted! A huge tree with vines and monkeys hanging from it!

    Idk about you ladies but the baby gadgets overwhelm me! I'm an engineer and I usually have no issues putting things together but I have ZERO patience these days and if I can't figure something out immediately I get flustered. After my baby shower I was trying to figure out a sling I was given and had a full on melt down when I couldn't! I kept saying "how am I going to take care of a baby when I cant even figure out a sling!" DH has been putting everything together, thank goodness!

    I think being women and at the end of pregnancy we all went to the gutters. Loved the comment.. Made me chuckle.

    I set up the nursery partially. Husband is out of town for grandfathers 90th in fl, I can't fly so I set up the nursery and realized what I need

    Looks like we could all use some orbitz to clean up our dirty minds! Lol

    Anyways, I got my travel system a long while back when a friend and her mother took me to lunch and surprised me with baby shopping, when I got home the house was all apart bc my IL has bought us flooring and DH and FIL were putting it in. I didnt care I HAD TO GET IT OUT! :) I played around with it for at least 30 mins and got to have bragging rights when I figured out how to fold it up before DH could!!

    I just ordered a new boppy after someone said how much easier it is to not lug one up and down stairs (which I did last time for like ever). So now I'll have 2 and I'm stupid excited about it. Why didn't I just get 2 to begin with??? Oh the humanity...

    Cant ever hurt to go ahead and wipe it down I guess?? Especially if it smells like chemicals!!

    This is a piece of advice I always share with new moms! Just wait until you see how much easier it makes things :).

    I've been pushing my uppaBaby stroller around the house for a solid week or so, it's so cool!!!! My husband also managed to snag the new uppaBaby car seat that's been on back order and shipping delays to stores for months. One website had it so we bought it, they called us two days later saying they accidentally over-sold so it would be shipped until after my due date, so we cancelled. That night he was searching again and found it on another website that only had 2 available and we got one! Win!

    Yep me too! Reminded me that our "toy" crapped out on us the other day and needs replacing! Lol
    On a more appropriate note: I'm super excited for our high chair. Specifically, the suction toys and such that go with it. It doesn't sound like much but I'm so excited to see her little mind stimulated!

    We just got ours off the wait list too! I can't believe how delayed they are, it's absurd.
