Enfamil newborn vs infant formula

i looked at the ingredients and seemed the only difference was the vitamin d is lower in the infant formula, it does specify you can use it for newborns. That being said my 6 week old has been on newborn, but all the store had today was infant, I bought it because I knew eventually she'll use it even if she can't now. But has anyone had experience or knowledge about switching from newborn to infant before the 3mos is up.?

    We have been using the infant since we've to formula. It goes from 0-12 months. Also the Walmart infant has the same ingredients as infamil infant and it is much cheaper. I think the only difference was the amount of protien but i know the difference was minnimal. We get a 35oz tub of the Walmart brand for 20 bucks and the infamil infant is a 22oz tub for 25bucks. I recently switched to that because it's so much cheaper. Didn't see any difference in mr man he eats it just the same.

    I get coupons for smiths and target a lot. So I bought the big box of enfamil that has the two pouches in it, it was 37.99 at smiths ($1 more than it is at Walmart) and I had a coupon for $8 off. And I did that twice, so 2 boxes for $60, instead of like $76

    We've used the enfamil infant since DD was a month old. I asked our dr who said there really is no big difference and infant was fine.

    Last time I bought it I had 2 $5 rebate checks from enfamil and target had a free $10 gift card when you buy 2 of the big boxes. I love those free gift cards at target. We buy diapers that way too.

    I'm still waiting for my enfamil checks.! I guess I only signed up for similac and I don't use similac /: once I get those then I'll really be in motion

    The hospital sent us home with some of the Enfamil Newborn premixed back and I had a couple sample containers of the powder at home.  Once those were out (about 2 weeks old) we switched to the Enfamil Infant formula.  No difference for us.  I'd go ahead and start with the infant.
