Tubal ligation a time of c section anyone?

Anyone have experience with having their tubes tied during the c section? I plan to obviously discuss with my dr but wanted some personal stories. I'm worried about it taking away time spent with the baby just being born, if it adds to recovery time, and long term effects on the body.

I don't but a good friend of mine had her tubes tied during her C section and she didn't have any issues with it at all.

I actually wanted to do it but couldn't because the delivery was going to be at a Catholic hospital and they didn't allow them there.

My sister in law had hers done at the same time and hasn't had any issues.

I had mine tied with this last baby. I was only on the table for an extra ten minutes or so. Not a big deal. Recovery was the same as my first csection.
