Anyone else out there that is not trying to rush these last few weeks of pregnancy?
We had a big scare this week due to low amniotic fluid and were very close to having to deliver today via c-section. I did everything in my power to get my fluid levels back under control and barely did it! We were SO happy that our daughter now has the opportunity once again to come when she is ready rather than being forced early due to a medical reason.
I can honestly admit that I am not miserable, I am not trying to find ways to rush the onset of my labor, I am not heartbroken that I am not dilated or contracting yet....but rather I am pretty sad that I probably only have about 2 weeks left of this pregnancy. There is NO DOUBT that I can't wait to meet my daughter, however, I am certainly not in any hurry to get her out any sooner than she is ready to be.

@babylo1 glad you were able to get your fluid levels back up!

With that said, I've been blessed with a pretty easy pregnancy so far, just acid reflux here towards the end.
Life has been a little harder lately but like PP said I'm not miserable and my whole pregnancy has honestly been great. I just figure he'll come when he's ready. Or on Tuesday
I am a FTM and I've been lucky because this pregnancy has for the most part been text book. I was very sick in the first trimester, and well into the second, but since about 17 or 18 weeks it has been a pretty smooth ride. I have no doubt had some aches and pains along the way but nothing major. I've gotten so accustomed to pregnancy that I think that's why I am ok with waiting a little while longer. Pregnancy is sort of the devil you know at this point and life with a newborn is the scary unknown.
Of course I am not due until July 31 so I still have a little bit to wait most likely. If I get to 39-40 weeks I may be singing a different tune!
