Breast/Nipple Secretion?

So.. Might be TMI but my fiance was sucking on my nipples while we were intimate and some yellow thick liquid came out. Is this normal? Anyone else having this?

    It is most likely colostrum (milk). Normal. Time to leave cookies by the bed ;)

    Lolz but if you are on week 21 they talk about that being pretty normal in the weekly video, if you watch that :)

    There have been a couple of other threads about this, but they were a while back.  I was actually searching for them earlier today because my breasts leaked a ton last night and I was debating whether or not I should bring it back up.  Mine have leaked a little bit from time to time since 16w, mostly when I sleep.  It's colostrum, and it's totally normal.

    I'd slow down on the breast stimulation now that you're farther along too. Could cause contractions. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong about that please.)

    I just read something the other day that said it will only cause contractions if you're ready to go otherwise (cervix, etc.) But it still scares me. In this case I would stop the nipple stimulation because there's thick stuff coming out of them, but that's just me.

    I have heard this too. On the flip side I have plenty of friends you have breastfed their entire pregnancies so I'm unsure how true it is.

    I think it depends on whether you are in a high risk case in whether nipple stimulation should be avoided. I have a large SCH and have been leaking colostrum for a few weeks. The DR said to be extra careful about stimulation and not to squeeze or otherwise touch my breasts. Of course preterm labor is a concern with my condition so my DR is extra cautious.

    Just wait! Once the baby is here and (if) you are breastfeeding your boobs will start leaking during intimacy! Have a towel ready!

    This. I kept my bra on for like a year and a half.

    It's normal at this time to leak, though. Everything is gearing up to feed the baby.

    OP consult with your OB, but leaking during breast stimulation is perfectly normal and shouldn't cause a problem during pregnancy as previous posters have pointed out but do ask your doctor :)

    I was told by my mid wife it was normal. With most it happens a little later on, but some get theirs in early. She also said having "adult time" activates some kind of hormone that may cause you to leak during. Don't remember the name, but don't freak out ;)

    I leak a little colostrum during. My SO also really enjoys nipple stimulation. I read it would take a whole lot of it to actually cause contractions that would be a problem. So if you are both good with it, it seems okay to me.

    Mine have been leaking since 16 weeks. Totally normal!
