7 week old not smiling?

DD is 7 weeks old and will be so close to flashing a smile then stop and stare. She smiles in her sleep and from gas, anyone else have a LO who isn't smiling yet? Not too worried yet hoping she gives us some before we go to the 2 month check up and have to talk to her doctor

    My LO is 7 weeks as well. She does the same thing. We have gotten a few good smiles but not many. I have read that they start smiling around 2 months

    My babe is 5 weeks and smiles whenever people talk to her or tickle/kiss her, but I do think she is early.

    One of mine started smiling around 8 weeks, the other one around 10 weeks

    We are two says shy of 8 weeks and LO does the same thing, I think she is still trying to figure it out....

    My DD hasn't really smiled other than from gas I think. Not too concerned, but really looking forward to that first proper grin!

    Nothing yet- six weeks today. I can't wait!! We are close but she still likes looking at the black framed pics on the wall more than me.

    I have heard not to expect smiles until the 2 month mark. My lo started smiling at 4 weeks but definitely don't think that's the norm.
