@JLaVO888, the first one I painted with chalk paint (no sanding) and wasn't thrilled. It just needs a coat of polly to be finished. The second, I got about 3/4 of the way done sanding the top and gave up. And there it sets, sander on top of dresser, in my parking spot.
I removed the labels from a bunch of old pasta jars I had been saving and painted the lids with rubbed bronze spray paint. I think they turned out pretty well!
Next up I ordered some fabric online and I am going to make slipcovers for the pillows that came with our couches. I'm also painting a counter in the laundry room with chalkboard paint so I can write instructions for which clothes not to machine dry etc.
Exactly. Although my husband won't wash anything on hot. It's Cold/Cold and then all in the dryer! He's really great at helping with all the household chores, but he always asks before he does the laundry. So, I'm hoping it will empower him to do more laundry without being afraid to shrink all my clothes.

Gardening! We just ripped out the ugly overgrown shrubs by our front steps and put down mulch, added some pavers as a border and planted some plants and flowers. Looks so much better now!
Projects, my favorite!! I'm working on a wood plank wall in my bedroom, it's going to look awesome and I can't wait to see how it turns out! Just trying to decide on what color wood I want to use right now...
TTC #1 since June 2015 3/16 - Started infertility testing 4/16 - SA results: borderline low count/morph 8/16 - Ultrasound and HSG: all clear! Prescribed Bromocriptine for elevated Prolactin levels. 9/16 - Prolactin down to normal levels!
DH and I just bought a house a month ago so that has been my project. Lots of painting, DIY stuff, planting flowers...all that fun stuff. It has been so good for me because its really helped me de-stress.

DH & I bought a home which needs major work! So we are doing that. I believe that if I make it thru without hurting myself or him I can do anything haha
Haha if you're like me, only for the day or two that it takes to finish the WHOLE season!! Then you are just stuck in the OTNB waiting game for the next season!!
I actually finally cleared out the "box room" which is where we threw all the boxes we didn't want or need to unpack when we moved into this house. It's been almost 4 months and I just got it cleared completely out so it can hopefully be a baby nursery
Next project is going to be re painting the bedside tables in our bedroom and doing some techniques on them that I saw on YouTube and Pinterest
Re: Projects to pass the time!
ETA: DH is not thrilled our garage had been unusable for the past few months. I should probably finish them.
