Working mama's *help!*

hey guys so our plan was for me not to go back to work but money is just getting way to tight! I'm really dreading going back to work and scared of leaving her, she's 7 weeks old and SUPER attached to mom! Any advice from working moms??
Thanks!!

Re: Working mama's *help!*

  • I have a nanny and I leave the baby with her when I need to go to appointments. That way the baby gets used to her slowly. So far my baby has taken to her and my older son adores her.

My guy is 7 weeks and I went back to work yesterday. I thought my heart would break but everything was fine! I spend a few hours with him in the morning, cuddle him all afternoon from when I get home until he falls asleep, and count the hours until the weekend. Ask for lots of updates and pictures from your babysitter and leave that office as quickly as you can at the end of the day! I keep telling myself that I miss my DS terribly but I absolutely love my job, and I'll be a better role model for him if I'm doing something I love since it makes me a happier person. Good luck- you will both be fine

It sucks but the baby adjusts very quickly. as for you....except to cry most of the first day and then a little less each day after that. The second week gets better. Make sure to tell whoever is watching your little one not to tell u of the mike stones cause it sucks to hear that they are walking or crawling from daycare
