  I would avoid that. I think it's okay as long as your not touching them but you'd really need to ask a doctor.

  From what I've heard, as long as it's covered, it's fine. Just be cautious!

  A co worker of mine had them and was sent home for several days because we had two women in the office who were pregnant and were told by thier doctors they couldn't be around someone with shingles. I would check with your doctor for sure.

  As a pregnant nurse, we are not allowed to be in the room of a patient with shingles. Stay away
