Constipation!!!!!help please!!!!!!!

my daughter is 6 weeks old and constipated please help with advice I'm a ftm!!!!!!! And she is in so much pain

    Gripe water, gas drops, pedal her feet like a bicycle, put her on her belly on your knees and thump her back or shake your knees to work out gas a little, hot bath.

    If all else fails, check her temperature with a rectal thermometer. That should get things going.

    My chiropractor told me to either take a probiotic or eat activia yogurt because of the good bacteria that's not as prevalent in babies' GI tract. I ate two yogurts yesterday and my boy is pooping like crazy today!

    We just came from the dr for this. I was told to give my 5 week old 2 oz of pedialight twice a day today and an infant suppository. It worked within 5 minutes.

    Omg we had this problem yesterday. It's been going on for a few days but she started screaming in pain yesterday around noon. The pediatric nurse told us to do massage, take a warm bath and if none of that works, buy glycerin suppositories at the pharmacy. Oh and to take her temp and use the rectal thermometer as a stimulant. Anyway, nothing worked and so we got the glycerin suppositories. We probably got 1 lb of stool out of her and she was super comfortable. The very next day, she still didn't have normal poo so I gave her 1 oz of Apple juice per the pediatrician's instructions. By 4 pm, she didn't have a bowel movement on her own so I called the pediatrician and was able to score the last appointment. The pediatrician said that I could feed her 1 oz of Apple juice a day until she became more regular and use the glycerin suppositories if she seems like she's having pain. Of course, 1 hour later, she had a massive poonami on her own. It went up the back and the front. I'm so exhausted now. Hope this makes sense. iPhone is making some dumb autocorrects but I'm too tired to fix them!

    Why is my breastfed baby having such constipation? Isn't is supposed to be better with Bf? We have meds I just gave him for it, haven't worked yet. Ds is so fussy, he wants to eat but can't.

    We did 2 oz of prune juice no added sugar. It worked 2 hours later Infant massage and hylands stuff was not working anymore

    You can also try a probiotic added into the milk. I used florastor (sp) and it worked great for my daughter.
