Baby is in position!!

i went to the doctor today for my 35week appt, and usually he just feels my stomach and doesn't say much about where she is or anything...I haven't had an ultrasound in months. Needless to say, I've been curious! Today I told myself I would ask him if he didn't tell me, but he did! She is vortex and I'm so happy! (Explains all the kicking in my ribcage!!) anyone else know the position of your baby?

Re: Baby is in position!!

  • Yup! Had an ultrasound this past Saturday, baby's head is by my right hip, back comes up around the left, and it's feet are near the right side of my rib cage! Also feeling all of the kicks :) so exciting!

  • Head down also, he can come when ever he likes. :D
  • He's head down and feet in the ribcage. It's getting very uncomfortable and I'm starting to waddle. Come on August! :-)

    Im ready
  • LO has been head down for weeks now...I posted something about this yesterday, but she seriously pokes her head out so far it looks like my bump has a bump lol
  • Head down, back along my right side, butt on my upper right and legs across top and down left side. She's been this way for weeks. The doc said the baby should pick her "spot" in the next two weeks. Ummmm, I think that train left the station a long time ago!
  • Head down, facing back. He sticks his butt right in the top of my stomach and pushes out all the time. It's a little uncomfortable but so cute!
  • Found out baby is head down at our appointments on Monday!  She has been breech, so I was happy to hear she had finally turned.  One less thing to worry about as the due date approaches!
  • Baby has been head down for almost two months now!
  • Head down for about a month or two now, but I have to have a c-section anyway, so its not quite as exciting :) I am glad that I don't have to worry about a prolapsed cord as much as I did with my daughter at least (breech right up will EDD).
  • Our little guy has been head down for a couple months now. I was so relieved when it happened because I have a severe bicornuate uterus and my doctor kept telling me the baby may not be able to get head down (even that early) thus resulting in a c section. A week later (after a very painful day of baby rolling around like crazy) he was head down. Doctor was really surprised and hasn't mentioned me having a c section since :-)
  • Well I thought this kid was head down, at least that's what I was told at my appt Tuesday. But through the day yesterday I believe he may have grown tired of that position and made himself a nice cozy spot BREECH! across my tummy :-/
  • Mine is head down too hope he stays that way. Is it possible they switch back or not ?

They can change positions last minute even.
  • I guess I'm just not as in tune with the position of her movements. At 30 weeks she was finally head down, but I never noticed a difference from when she was breech. I feel her moving, but it just feels like she's poking my belly and that's it.
  • My little guy has been head down for a month. His spine was spine on spine and on Monday my doctor said his spine is now against my side.

He loves to kick and loves it when dads in the room. Dad is out of town for a few days,he hasn't been the crazzy active little guy.. I guess he already misses him! He also just started to kick because brother came in as I'm typing!
