Hi all,
I'm 17 weeks pregnant and completely inactive aside from walking my dog daily and housework. I'd really like to add some cardio, such as jogging. I've used the c2k app before (couch to 5km), but am uncertain if it's safe for me to try now. I was about 10lbs overweight before getting pregnant and have gained about 15lbs so far. The app really eases you in to the work out. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this would be a safe entry into cardio?
Thanks for any advice!
Re: wanting to start jogging for first time
not sure of any other low impact cardio that I could do on my own. I'm guessing just power walking?
Once you're cleared to work out again post-pregnancy, a couch to 5k program would be a great place to start.
