Maternity scrub pants

Anyone bought or wearing maternity scrub pants? Trying to decide if I should order size I usually wear or go up in size.
Thanks!

Re: Maternity scrub pants

  • I wore a x-small in scrub pants and bought small maternity pants. I couldn't stand having the drawstring pulled tight under my stomach no matter how low, and the maternity scrubs felt SO much better. So far the smalls still fit but are getting a bit tight in the hips and thighs. I've also gained more weight than I should have. I'd go one size up just for growing room and comfort but you may be all belly and only need the extra room in front.

I bought my normal size and should have gone up one in Cherokee pants. I usually wear greys anatomy, but couldn't find any maternity in them.
  • I went up one size for my maternity scrubs. So glad I did because the panel is starting to get a little tight at 35 weeks.
  • Up one size in Cherokee! Best purchase ever
  • Maternity scrubs? Who knew?!?! Too bad I am not allowed to wear them in the OR

I have two pair of Cherokee maternity pants in my normal size and they are starting to get tight. Soooo much better than regular scrubs though.

Edit to say I'm currently 33w4d and just noticed the tightness around my butt/thighs ( Not my belly ) this week.
  • I use or scrubs and use a belly band

  • I use regular size of Cherokee. Love them. I bought one pair up a size and cannot keep them up still (33 weeks).
  • Didn't know there was maternity scrubs! I just bought a size bigger of normal ones!
  • Op- I normally wear grey's that run a little small. I was given some hand-me-downs in my same size in Cherokee and they are working out great for me.

@kegraves28 they are absolutely wonderful. I've been a minimalist with my maternity wardrobe but these are awesome and worth every penny imo. I can't get regular pants to either stay up when I'm walking or not dig into my bump when sitting.

  • Cherokee scrub pants are amazing!!! So comfortable. I bought my usual size.

  • I bought unisex scrub pants in my normal size and use a belly band.
  • Maternity scrub pants are so worth it! I bought Cherokee pants in my normal size and they felt a little tight at first but I don't think I'll need to go up a size. They're super comfortable and they don't fall down. These were the only maternity scrubs I could find in petite too. They are such a relief compared to the regular scrubs with belly band combo that I was using! No falling down and no digging into the belly. I wish all pants could be this way!
  • Thanks ladies! I don't know why I waited so long to get some. I have been doing the bigger size regular and getting so uncomfortable!
I am ordering a pair now!!
  • I normally wear large bottoms in Walmart brand. I fit into medium Cherokee maternity. Maternity scrubs are well worth the money!!
  • I switched from wearing my own scrubs to the hospital provided drawstring scrubs. And I just wear those with a belly band that help hold them up. I hate spending money on scrubs when I'm not pregnant, there was no way I was spending money on maternity scrubs!
  • I wear Peaches scrub pants. They have a soft, slightly thicker waistband and fit comfortably under my belly, so I haven't needed to buy maternity scrub pants.
