Hemorrhoids

someone please talk to me about hemorrhoids. I am in such severe pain. Tried every cream and ice pack. I'm 33 weeks along with twins and cannot find any relief. I can't even walk they are so prolapsed. Anyone have a magic home remedy?

    Struggled with this a few weeks ago due to a nasty, consistent cough that was putting so much pressure.. Everywhere. Taking a warm bath with only a little bit of tea tree oil helped so much (I say only a little because too much made my skin burn) if you chose to try this test it on a small patch of skin to make sure you aren't allergic. Or you can just apply it directly if you don't feel like soaking in it :D lavender oil works as well (at least it did for me) especially added in with the bath. Good luck!

    You should ask your doctor if there is a prescription cream that might help. When I had DD the hospital sent me home with a tube of something that I think was a prescription and it helped a lot when I used it together with Tuck's pads.

    Ugh, that's awful! You're almost at the end, though, and chances are in your favor that they won't be a problem anymore after you deliver your babies!

    Ugh, hemorrhoids are the worst!! I developed a pair that left me in blinding pain and unable even to sit normally. Using a special donut cushion helped. My doctor gave me a prescription cream but only after several days of excruciating pain. Prep h sort of helped, as did Tucks pads. The only time I really felt better was during a sitz bath (just sitting in warm water in a tub). So sorry you're going through this!! The pain will get better, but the roids will probably hang around until you deliver (and maybe longer :( ).

    After I had my first I got a perscription suppository- not sure if it's safe to use while pregnant but it might be work looking into. That was the ONLY thing that helped. Tucks pads were also a great short term solution.

    I've never had hemorrhoids, I don't even know how I'd be able to tell if I had them. Have been afraid to push while pooping lately tho! Lol

    If you get them mimi grace, you will definitely know something is wrong. I didn't realize what they were for a few weeks after they developed and before it was all over I could not stand up right, sit down, or walk correctly.

    To the OP, I have been taking colace first thing in the morning because it seems to be most effective then, using prep H cream and wipes, and warm baths. Of course make sure to talk to your doctor though, but that regimen was recommended to me by my doctor and it seems to help.

    I have the same thing going on today. I'm so miserable. I've just been crying and eating Popsicles all day. It doesn't help but the Popsicles are yummy

    Ugh I seem to have developed them- thanks for jinxing me!!!!! Just kidding. They're not painful or irritated or anything but I'm going to treat them as if they are so they don't get that way! Ughhhh, gross!! X_X

    I have 4 golf ball sized at this point. At doctor appointment today, I sobbed and begged for relief. They said I can go to ER and have a surgeon evaluate them and they can give you an epidural and do surgery while you're awake. I have never had such excruciating pain.
