    No, if I leave early I get a point on my attendance and I lose my holiday pay for the fourth!

    Oh that sucks. Ice water helps tons! In fact, if you can run to the bathroom and splash some cold water on your face it'll help some. Do you work in a place that will at least rush to fix it?

    Yes thankfully the maintenance department is good to me, they are working on it already!!! I will have to do the water on my face soon...I sit by a big bank of windows!!

    Oh no.  I say that is grounds for an early holiday weekend!  I hope they can get someone out to fix it quickly.

    Ugh! That's awful!

    I wish my work had AC. I work at a coffee stand in the center of a giant factory that was built without AC. Yesterday was my first day and it was unreal!

    No AC at my work. I work at a drive through coffee stand and they think it's pointless to have AC since we have the windows open all the time helping customers. It has been in the mid 80s and up the last couple weeks and I'm roasting. My feet swelled up for the first time yesterday... That sucked.

    Hah.. I work in a salon in California where it is currently 110 this week.. It's pretty hard to keep a salon cool when it's that hot and there are constantly blow dryers going. It's about 85 by 5 o clock each day. It's horrible.

    Ok so my AC officially is fixed....and now I feel awful for you ladies having to deal with the heat!!!!!!

    No AC at work or at home for me. It was 35 degrees C today. I made it to 4pm and had to leave and go stand in the chiller section of the grocery store for half an hour while pretending to peruse the apples.
