Corbin Jace born on May 12 at 25 weeks 6 days. Due date was August 19. Weighing in at 2 pounds .8 ounces, currently 5 weeks old in nicu at 2 pounds 14.5 ounces. Was 13.75 inches long, has now moved up to 14 inches long!! Our little fighter

Emma Paige born at 31 weeks at 2 pounds 11 ounces due to severe preeclampsia. She is 16 inches long. Week one in the NICU has been scary but our little girl is getting stronger every day. We are so happy to be the parents of such a beautiful baby!

Kinsley Rose born June 18th at 11:50 am weighing 4lbs 4oz & 17 inches long (31 weeks and 6 days). Due to placenta previa / Accreta. Original due date August 14th. She's in the nicu & doing as good as can be expected with how early she is. Have been able to hold her twice skin to skin & it was amazing.

Christian Jose born April 10th at 23 weeks 1 day, due August 6th, weighing 1 lb 6 ounces. He's just over 10 weeks old and weighs 3 1/2 pounds. He's doing exceptionally well, we couldn't be more proud! #GrowChristian!

Kenneth Owen born June 12 (32 weeks 2 days) at 9:11pm. He weighed 3lbs 3oz and was 15in long. He was born early because of severe preeclampsia. I was lucky enough to have been in the hospital under observation when my preeclampsia turned severe and needed to deliver. He was born via c-section because he was breech. Today (12 days old) he weighed in at 3lbs 7oz he is off all assisted oxygen and iv fluids. He is up to 28ml of breast milk every 3 hours and his doctors are astounded by his progress. We are hoping to bring him home within the next few weeks!

My brother had his first baby June 29th at 34 weeks & 3 days. Welcome my sweet nephew Adelio Lewis ! He was born at 7.5 pounds. He is in the NICU because mom has diabetes they are controlling his sugar. He is on oxygen and his lungs are getting stronger and stronger! His size is a great advantage for him! I can't wait until I can't hold him and he can meet his baby cousin(my LO) in August!

Went in for a check up Tuesday 6/30 ended up needing to have a baby. Surprise c-section but precious Leia Milani Weds July 1st weighing in at 4lbs 4oz & 16inches. She has Gastroschisis and is waiting to have surgery! Wish us luck! But we're doing well. And I'm soooo in love & can't sleep cause I'm too happy!

I had some light cramping Monday morning which escalated into full on contractions fairly quickly. Out of nowhere I was 3 cm dilated and 90 percent effaced! Within an hour I was at 4 cm. Our baby, Hendrix Marlin Harris, was born just a short hours later weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces. He has absolutely stolen our hearts in every way and I cannot believe this is actually real!!!! Being five weeks early, we did not expect to be released quickly but our little guy was cleared to go home Thursday! We are now all settling into this amazing new experience. Wishing all of the August mamas a smooth and safe delivery!

Here is little miss Evelyn Lucille! She was born July 5 at 11:53 a.m and weighed 5lbs3oz. My due date was August 6 but she's doing great! In the nicu right now but so far so good. I'm so in love!!

Danica Dean. Born 7/7/2015 at 8:08am. She weighed 6 pounds even and was 19.25 inches long. She was 3 1/2 weeks early but is very healthy. I'm in awe and don't want to miss a moment with her. I will post a picture later. My phone is being temperamental. Good luck to the rest of the August 2015 moms!

Unexpected but so in love. Emergency c section exactly one month early. Noticed lack of movement since yesterday. Went to er. Baby showed signs of distress. Benjamin Leo Gold. 5lb. 11oz. 19,inches of perfection. In so much pain but so worth it. Lungs working hard to get stronger. Can't post a pic from phone. Trust your bodies ladies. He is a miracle .

Finley Nora born 7/10 at 5 lbs 9 oz 5 1/2 weeks early. Original due date 8/18. Emergency c-section due to severe bleeding from placenta previa. Mom is fine. Baby is doing well but is having some feeding difficulties. (Doesn't suck on bottle/pacifier)

Hunter Scott was born June 29th (the day after my birthday) at 34.5 weeks, 5 lb 7 oz. I had an ultrasound that morning after a concern about decreased movement at my regular checkup. Everything checked out fine, 5 hours later my water broke while i was waiting for a pizza, 4 hours after that i was in surgery to deliver via c-section due to him being breech. He is doing great, didn't need any extra help after delivery and we were released 2.5 days later. Already back up to his weight!

Cora was born yesterday (7/13) at 4lb 7 oz. She is doing better than I think anyone anticipated. She is my little miracle :-) I have been in pre-term labor since week 26 and am so very grateful we made it to week 34 and 1 day before Cora finally made her grand entrance.

Grayson Cole born 7/11 at 135 pm via emergency c section @ 36 weeks 2 days. He weighed 5 lbs 10 oz and 19 in long. We are both doing wonderful. I'm in awe of both his and my body!!!! Good luck all you super heroes and trust your bodies.

Everett arrived by c-section on 7/16 at 34 weeks 4 days. Original due date was 8/23 but preeclampsia moved that up. He weighs in at 5 lbs flat. I only got to see him once because my health is still precarious. My husband and our parents got to see him in the NICU. It's breaking my heart not to be there with him. He is getting oxygen for fluid in his lungs. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

Alex and Max born 7/16 (6 weeks early due to IUGR). Was on hospital bed rest for a week due to preeclampsia. Received steroid shot. Babies In NICU to get stronger and bigger. Breathing on their own!

After 37 weeks of a picture-perfect, low-risk pregnancy and being fully prepared for a home birth, I began to have severe itching and my midwife discovered that I had developed ICP, a rare liver-related complication that puts babies at a higher risk of still birth at the end of the third trimester. Thus, we were induced on Friday at 38 weeks even. My midwife and her apprentice acted as my doulas and were worth their weight in gold, giving me the chance to have as close to a natural birth as I could get. On July 18 at 12:30 p.m. Aliyah Faith entered the world, weighing in at 6.6 lbs and 20 inches long, and apart from a 2nd degree tear due to her being posterior, we are both doing well.

DH and I were at Target yesterday at 2:30pm picking up a couple toiletries for my hospital bag when I felt a "pop" and a gush. We ran home, quickly threw our hospital bag together and went straight to the hospital. Autumn Elaine was born at 10:16pm at 37w/5d on 7/18. 5 lb 6oz. 18 inches long. I made it to 9cm before getting an epidural. Thank God for the epidural!! Seriously. Next time, I won't be waiting. (I should have believed @Miz_Liz 's many posts about the power of an epidural!) We did have one scare near the end when they lost the baby's heartbeat for awhile... They did end up using an internal fetal monitor. But Autumn, Dad and I are doing well and we are so so so in love!!

ETA: Just as a side note, I worked a 12 hr shift at the hospital yesterday and had HORRIBLE back pain last night.... Stupid me thought that it was because I twisted my back the other day. (Lol, FTM problems.) My back labor was unbelievably painful until the epidural! Again, praise the Lord for that thing! =D>
