Scarey ultrasound

Anyone have any stories of ultrasounds that were scarey but everything turned out fine?
I am currently pregnant after my first IVF cycle. My transfer was May 18th. I had my first ultrasound on June 9th, and was told I was 5 weeks 3 days. The only thing visible was the gestational sac, which is normal.
I had my second ultrasound on June 18th and still the only thing visible was the sac. The Dr. seemed concerned that she couldn't see the fetal pole.
She had me do labs and schedule another ultrasound for. The 22nd.
My labs were good, hcg level is 13,000. But now I am in the waiting game for next ultrasound in a couple of days and just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and how it turned out?

    I'm 6 weeks today and I had an ultrasound early in my 5th week and they couldn't find baby. I have another one on Thursday and I have my fingers crossed! Good luck babe!

    I had my first ultrasound sound at 6 weeks and my baby is sitting at the top as well. Very small I can barely see her

    Thank you for your update, I found your story very encouraging. We went for our first ultrasound at 7w 2d and was told they could only see the sac, nothing else. They had me draw blood and my hog level was at 25000 but they said the sac could be producing it's own hormones (with or without baby) and gave us a 50% chance of a successful pregnancy. We were crushed. Our next ultrasound is on Tuesday and we are trying to stay hopeful but it's hard, i have good and bad days, today being a bad one. Thanks again for your story :)

    I had an ultrasound monday and LMP said 6 weeks but when I went all she saw was yolk sac and measured me at 4 weeks 6days. I have another u/s scheduled for tuesday and am freaking out a little! Hope to see some improvement tuesday!

    I went in , should be 7.5 weeks. Only saw small gestational sac. Came back 2 weeks later, everything fine. Baby with strong hb. Said I must have ovulated really late. Dates were weeks off. Gave me due date based on fetal size.
