Hurting SO Bad:(

I've been having the WORST pelvic pain tonight. And not just normal "there's a baby in me" pains but I can barely walk pain! I cried getting up to go pee:( I'm having contractions but not regular. It literally feels like my pelvic bone is broken or something. Idk what to do I don't want to go out and bug the hospital because they really only want you to come in if you are contracting regularly. Plus SO is supposed to be leaving at 4 this morning for work out of town for all week. Idk what to do, what would yall do?

Re: Hurting SO Bad:(

  • I would call your Dr office, not sure about you but I have a 24 h number to call my OB.

To put you at ease though, I have had the pelvic pain for a while due to baby's position, your baby most likely just dropped and the irregular contractions are your pre labor prep your body puts you through. Also something I have been going through since two Thursdays ago. The pain sucks I know it feels like I was kicked in the crotch multiple times with steel toed boots and my hip goes out of place and cracks when I try to get out of bed. Walking hurts with each step too. Hopefully your contractions get regular and this is it for you soon. I'm 39 +3 and a little impatiently waiting for baby boy lol.

    Good luck

  • If you are having pains to walk, go to the hospital.
  • Ive been and mentioned the walking pain for me personally, its just his position and how my body is taking it. It's been a while cause he went from standing on my pubic bone to his head right there. My brother did the same thing to my mom.

It's always better to be safe then sorry though this is just my personal experience with walking pain.
  • Hopefully this is it!! Contractions are now more regular between 4-5 1/2 mins apart. And getting more intense. But bad news is SO just left for work out of town 1.5 hours away. Luckily he runs his own drywall business so he can come back anytime. Praying these contractions/this pain is leading to me meeting my new baby boy soon!
  • I'm in the same boat here. I have been struggling with this pain for a while. But tonight it's on another level it's so bad I'm crying to get up roll over screaming in pain. I'm so afraid to move. I have an apt at 9 so hopefully I get some answers I just can't deal anymore. 37 weeks Tuesday.

My OBs office isn't the best

I tried telling them as well

The pain is a pressure in my pelvis but boy does it radiate to the back when I try to relieve the front!! Im sorry but I got told the only thing that will change how I feel is having the baby.

She said "try some Tylenol" - well we both know that wont cut it and I had tried it already

  • I've been dealing with this pain on and off since I was 6mos but now it has intensified to a new level. It's hard for me to get around without been in pain but unfortunately my doctor told me the only solution is to have the baby, so no is not uncommon. I think the pain gets worst as your pregnancy progresses because of the position of the baby. Good luck and know you're not alone!
  • @MaddyZ15 just got back from NST and baby is great very low she said. Had an apt with my OB after but she called in sick. So freaking emotional but saw another OB and she checked me said I'm very soft and felt the baby's head but not really dilated. But my body is getting ready for labor. Which should be soon. I'm suppose to be induced on the 15th but she seems to think he will come sooner. She suggested wearing my belt when I sleep and all day and also to try a yoga ball. Wish I had the energy to go buy one. I'm so miserable and have no idea what me and my 2 year old are going to do today. I hope my water breaks soon.
  • I was actually just going to write a very similar post. I am right there with you, but only 36 weeks, it hurts so bad I want to cry.
  • You just described me the day before DD was born. I actually went to the hospital because at 3am I couldn't walk when I got up to pee. They sent me home in early labor. (Contracting but not dilating.) 24 hours later my water broke.

Hang in there, you might be in the home stretch!

  • I'm 36 weeks plus 3 days and I feel the same way!!.... xoxoxox
  • I am also in the same boat. I am 35 weeks. I went to L&D on Thursday cause I couldn't walk or move. It hurt so bad to even roll over in bed. They checked me out and baby was very low and I was soft and dilated a finger tip. I was having contractions but irregular so thet gave me four shots over 6 hours to get the contractions to stop. Doctor said it was to soon to deliver even tho baby was measuring 36 weeks and 5 days on the ultrasound. So I guess the pain is just going to stay until I deliver. This is my second baby never had the pain with my first but he was delivered at 35 weeks when my water broke. Good luck ladies we all need it
  • If your having these pains I'd suggest you to go to the hospital or atleast to your doctors office to get checked! ASAP! Because you might be having painless contractions and baby's head might be really down! That's how I felt when I was in labor! So get checked as soon as possible
  • I was having the same pain that would bring me to tears. Try stretching doing a modified pigeon pose (Google it). I felt better immediately.
