Pre pregnancy jeans!?!?

Hey y'all just curious if anyone Is still in pre pregnancy jeans? I'm 15w Wednesday and still not showing bump or bloat and still in my pre pregnancy jeans? Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining because it has been nice not having to switch out clothes just yet, however I must say I'm ready to start showing and feeling pregnant! Who is with me still ladies?!?!?

Re: Pre pregnancy jeans!?!?

  • Here here! I'm 14 weeks and this is my second baby. I'm still in all my normal clothes. Last time I was like 20 weeks before I had to switch over. Let's count ourselves lucky!

  • 15 weeks and still in regular jeans as well. Well, not in my tightest of skinny jeans (although I could probably squeeze, just sounds horribly uncomfortable lol). I'm looking forward to fitting in maternity jeans though, they look so comfortable!
  • Ugh....I wish I was in my prepregnancy jeans! I have been in maternity pants for a few weeks now - we are 16.1 right now. But they are crazy comfortable so it's not all bad. My issue was I got hugely bloated right away (usually happens from the IUIs) so when we found out we were actually pregnant I feel like I never lost the bloat.

I am jealous of everyone in prepregnancy pants :)
  • I wish. Lol

  • Yep, 15 weeks and still in all my normal clothes. Sometimes with bloat they get a little snug, but I haven't gained any weight yet. As much as I can't wait for the bump, I'm trying to count myself as lucky and hope it bodes well for overall pregnancy weight gain...

  • 14w and yes, but the price has been paid for it with vomiting and constant nausea. I would rather be in maternity clothes at this point.

  • Nope :( but I'm not in maternity jeans all the way either. And in all honestly it's way to hot where I live to wear jeans. I'm in shorts, sun dress, or a bathing suit in the pool!
  • I am almost 18 weeks, I can fit my pre pregnancy jeans but prefer the comfort of the maternity ones
  • I could wear and button mine if I wanted to because they're all so low rise, but it would not be comfortable for very long!

Yep I'm at 14w and still in normal clothes. I'm counting my lucky stars as we still have 2 weeks before we tell everyone (want both grandparents in person at same time since it's the 1st on either side) but I can sense this won't last much longer. Although my mom didn't hit maternity clothes until 28w when she was pregnant with me so who knows?!

15 weeks and still in normal clothes. Pants are getting a wee bit snug but I'm bloated to hell and gone!
Is heartily apologizing to her child in advance for genes that predispose them to shitty vision and being Too Damn Tall.
  • I can still wear low rise, but the bump pops pver the top, so I have to wear something floaty over the top or just embrace the fact that shaped like a beer-swilling middle aged man. :-w
  • I popped a couple of weeks ago. At 15 weeks. My pre pregnancy jeans and shorts barely don't fit anymore just because of my uterus. My bump is above my waistline, but my uterus is jut barely too big for me to button up.

Still in my size 24's but have to switch out when I get too bloated :/
  • 16 weeks and can still fit into 2 pairs of my pre-pregnancy jeans. They aren't very comfortable anymore though.
  • 16 weeks and still fit in my jeans comfortably but my dress slacks for work are not fitting anymore since the waistline is much higher than my jeans...
  • 14w and still in pre-preg clothes, however I do have 1 pair of maternity jeans and shorts and prefer those! I wear those if we go out in the evening or the weekend :)
  • So far...me...my maternity jeans ripped last time and I never got around to replacing them.

Need to buy some soon though!

  • 14wks 3days a d still in my regular jeans. They are starting to get a little uncomfortable especially if I eat a lot. But I think I can rock them for a few more weeks.
  • Thanks ladies for all the replies I enjoyed reading them!!! I'm glad I can still wear my capris and shorts also clothes shopping gets expensive!!! Although I have to say my go to thing for the summer is gonna be maxi skirts and dresses especially when I'm bloated!!!
  • Yep I am still, getting kinda tight but still comfortable.

I'm 34w3d and still in my prepregnancy pants. My bump is huge, it's just high up. You may not have to switch the maternity pants for a long time.

  • i am just a bit jealous of this! i have been a tiny person since the age of about 21 when i had a huge metabolism swing and just wasn't putting weight on the way i did when i was younger. so for the past 7 years i have been able to wear not only the same size jeans... but in some cases the SAME jeans i had that long ago! flash to being about 5 weeks pregnant... i bloated like a balloon... my boobs almost filled back up to the lovely size they were when i was younger (a nice full C as opposed to an A - not complaining about this AT ALL ha) and i could no longer get my jeans up past my thighs. my body literally turned back to the beast it was in highschool. not that it is bad or anything, i actually kinda missed the softness and the curves, but had a hell of a time coming to grips with the fact that NONE of my pants fit. shorts that i had bought a week before i knew i was pregnant no longer fit!
now entering the second trimester my bloating has gone down significantly and i feel like i looked more pregnant last month than i do this month and am struggling with that. i am definitely having more body issues than i thought i would.  i have a tiny tiny little bump that only my closest friends and family notice...

i am in the leggings and jogging pants stage... and thankfully my girfriends and i do pretty regular clothing swaps so as my body changes I am likely to get free stylish things from some of my friends.
  • I still wear my pre-pregnancy jeans and shorts, but choose to wear maternity sometimes just because they're comfortable. It depends on the day and how bloated I feel :)

I'm only holding on to wearing the regular pants because I remember how much I despised all my maternity clothes by the end of the 9+ months last time around. I wanted to burn them all.

  • I haven't tried on my jeans in awhile (too hot!) but I'm still in my regular shorts and work clothes and summer clothes. I'm holding on as long as possible.

I hate you! I hate you all! I'm 16 weeks & haven't been in my prepregnancy jeans in forever! Bloated up right away & spread everywhere! I'm definitely having issues dealing with it, too, as I'm fairly petite & always assumed I'd just be one of those ladies who look exactly the same, but with a bump. NOT! Le sigh...
  • @letitialange I felt the exact same way for my first pregnancy. I didn't look pregnant for forever, but I felt like I looked as though I'd been eating only pizza and drinking beer for a few months straight. Not that I had gained a lot, but I was just bloated everywhere including my face. It got much better for me after I started actually looking pregnant towards the middle/end of second tri. :)

  • STM ~ 14w 5d and in my "normal" clothes ~ although everything is tight and I have a slight bump / muffin top. Trying to hold off as long as possible transitioning to maternity. Especially since everything I own is for the winter season, so I will need to do some shopping when it's time to switch. Ugh!
  • Still wearing old jeans for now. I've lost 15 pounds so I think that's helped. But I won't be surprised if in a couple weeks I'll pop out of them.
  • I can still wear my prepregnancy jeans. I may not be able to button them, but they still fit. I bought a belly band to wear with them, but soon I'm going to have to either buy a bigger size or search for maternity jeans that actually fit in my butt and legs.

  • No idea. I packed all my restrictive clothing away as soon as i got bloated.

I don't like feeling clothing pressing on my skin. It freaks me out.

Probably they'd still fit. My legs are thinner even though i have a bump now.
  • I'm 15w5d with #2 and I'm still in normal clothes. Sometimes I unbutton my jeans for comfort but usually not. With my first I crammed into my normal jeans all the way until about 28 weeks I think :) so it's totally normal to still be wearing regular clothes.

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and I'm still in majority of my regular clothes. I'm honestly having more issues with my shirts since my boobs grew a cup size in the first couple weeks. I'm holding on as long as possible.
  • Haha no way. :)
  • 16 weeks 5 days can still wear stretchy low rise jeans (buttoned). High-rise and less stretchy annoyed me a few weeks ago (but I could probably still get in them just not comfy sitting and stuff). Mostly starting to get frustrated with inbetween being regular and maternity clothes. I did buy elastic waist linen shorts which has helped (not maternity--since its still more bloat than bump).
