What's new with baby (size, development): still teeny tiny!
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: trying to buy a new house!
Rant/rave/symptoms: I'm really anxious and wish I could relax some. I already have anxiety and the first tri just isn't easy on that I suppose. Besides that, sore boobs, fatigue and bloating so far today.
GTKY: Where do you live? Boston area
What's new with baby (size, development): Its a sesame seed- and I want Chinese food
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: house renovations- bathroom done,
Rant/rave/symptoms: Honestly I don't think I have any symptoms. However they pulled me off of meds to manage my AI disease so I am back to feeling pit in my stomach nausea, aches pains and exhaustion as well as having issues with sleep.... so maybe I am... all I know is its going to be 35C here which is a heatwave for England and I am not going to be a happy camper.
Questions for the Group: Not much
GTKY: Where do you live?- Birmingham, England (From NY to MA to TX to MA to here though!)
Trimester/week: 3w6d
What's new with baby (size, development): still super tiny!
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: we have started to talk to my two year old about babies and about being a big brother!
Rant/rave/symptoms: I just made my first
ob apt for Aug 6. I know the days will drag! I can't wait for it though just for a piece of mind! The first few weeks are hard because you don't feel pregnant, you don't look pregnant, and you haven't had the pregnancy confirmed by the dr! I can't wait until I am into the second trimester.
No symptoms yet.
Questions for the Group: I guess my question can be when does everyone else have their first prenatal visit and how far along will you be? I will be 9w2d which is pretty average for the first apt! I know they usually say between 8 and 12 weeks.
GTKY: Where do you live? Right now we live in Watertown, NY, but my husband is getting out of the army so we will be moving within the next few months. Not sure where yet.
Trimester/week: 1/4.5 weeks
What's new with baby (size, development): poppy seed
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby:
Laying the ground work for ds (2.5) to about having a little sibling to play with. Trying to figure out how to keep the pregnancy a secret when we will be with dh's parents for the next 3 weeks.
Rant/rave/symptoms:
Ugh I have a cold! It is not terrible during the day but nights and mornings are awful. Symptom wise I am super emotional (cried because I read a sad article this morning... So stupid why would I read that) not like me at all since I am usually not a crier. Also I had some mild constipation starting 2 days before BFP and that has continued. I am also queasy off and on though no vomiting.
Questions for the Group: none yet
GTKY: Where do you live?
@sdemilio1231 I am a central New York mom too. Mohawk valley region.
As far as prenatal appointments our first is the 21st I will be 7 weeks 6 days. This is new last time around our first appointment was 11 weeks.
Trimester/week: 1/4
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is the size of a poppyseed
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Celebrating one minute, forgetting the next, and then freaking out a bit. Funny how you prepare for a possible pregnancy for months only to feel unprepared once that BFP comes!
Rant/rave/symptoms: I made my first doctor appointments this morning!! We have a consultation with my OB on 7/14 and our first U/S on the 20th. It feels so crazy that those appointments are scheduled and I got my BFP less than 48 hours ago!
Questions for the Group: Do you have any book, blog, or app recommendations for DH?
GTKY: Where do you live? Chicago!
What's new with baby (size, development): Baby is producing enough hormones for a positive test
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: To be honest, nothing yet! I haven't even told my husband!
Rant/rave/symptoms: I don't know if it was baby or I ate something yesterday but I woke up at 5am this morning with a sour stomach
Questions for the Group: How did you tell DH you were pregnant?

What's new with baby (size, development): Still super tiny!
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Right now, we're just making lists and saving money!
Rant/rave/symptoms: My breasts have been so tender the last WEEK (didn't even know symptoms could show up that early...5 dpo??) and it stinks. It's like someone has been using them as a punching bag :-(
Questions for the Group: Has anyone still not gotten a positive blood test yet? I'm still super early, but got a "pregnant 1-2 weeks" on a clearblue digital. However, I went in for a blood test today and they told me it was negative, but couldn't tell me my HCG levels. Just worried now
GTKY: Where do you live? I live in Maryland with my DH who is in the military.

What's new with baby (size, development):
A poppyseed today!
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby:
I've been pinning nursery ideas. I'm also increasing my water intake and decreasing my caffeine intake.
Rant/rave/symptoms:
Yesterday I had what I believe was a panic attack. I've never had panic attacks before. We were at a resturant for lunch and I felt like I needed to leave immediately. I felt like I couldn't get a deep enough breath even though I was filling my lungs each time. I was finding it hard to breathe and my chest was hurting. My heart was racing and I felt like I couldn't get out of there fast enough. We went to the car and turned the air on. I started to feel better. DH was getting ready to bring me to the hospital because he thought I was having a heart attack!
Questions for the Group:
Does anyone suffer from panic attacks? Any non-pharmalogical ways of dealing with them? I'm going to talk to my doctor about it.
GTKY: Where do you live
Texas- near Dallas.

Poppyseed
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby:
Nothing yet because if its a boy, we have everything. We will wait until we know what we are having.
Rant/rave/symptoms:
I have been beyond exhausted and craving a ton.
Questions for the Group:
GTKY: Where do you live?
Chicago area
What's new with baby (size, development): Teensy tiny - size of a poppyseed
Rant/rave/symptoms: I had an appointment scheduled for 7/7 for "testing" thinking this was going to be my 6th month TTC with no BFP. Contacted the office to let them know of the pregnancy and they moved it out to 7/29. Already having waves of nausea that come and go and a mild headache the past 2 days. Every afternoon I feel like I need a nap - which is totally not like me.
@Kristin712 Do you have any book, blog, or app recommendations for DH? I recommended the great sperm race on YouTube to DH but he has no interest.
@KristieA How did you tell DH you were pregnant? I made him a card. We are both Ole Miss fans so I wrote my own version of the Hotty Toddy cheer: Are you ready? Hell yes! Damn right! Hotty toddy gosh almighty, who the hell are we? Hey! Flim flam Bim bam... We're gonna be parents by damn!
@sdemilio1231 I heard that was great. I didn't think ds was quite ready yet
Hi ya'll! I posted last night and it didn't save. Even though its Tuesday I'm gonna post this again.
Trimester/week: I am 4+5 today.
What's new with baby (size, development): It is still pretty microscopic.
Whats something new you are doing to get ready for baby: Relax and hope for a sticky baby!
Rant/rave/symptoms: Everything normally makes me nauseous so that hasn't been a new thing for me. I laugh, I puke, I cry, I puke, I get nervous, I puke... And while my breast as a whole aren't sore, I feel like I have marathon runner's nipples. Any abrupt movement and they feel like they are on fire!
Questions for the Group: No questions so far. I'm sure that I will have some once I get to know you!
GTKY: Where do you live? We live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast right in between New Orleans and Mobile. It has been about 105 the past few weeks so my DD and I have been stuck in the house. Even a venture to the splash pad has been miserable!

BFP #1: KSD: 6, 3/15/09
