Guilty pregnancy pleasure!

Okay so I know we all want to be Uber healthy and most PROBABLY aren't as weak as.me.when it comes to snacks. But does anyone else have a guilty pregnancy pleasure? I'm just so addicted to pizza and skittles I could eat it daily! I RRALLY want to try bc I'd prefer not to get GD. It's so hard! Sometimes it seems like so many eat whatever they want and have no issues! Ahh, what's your guilty pleasure?

  • I'm a sugar-aholic when I'm not pregnant and during pregnancy it gets much much worse. I have gone to the lengths of throwing all candy away in my house so I don't eat it. Ibwent about a month with barely any candy and then I hit a day where I just had to have sugar. Now I'm trying to get back to barely eating it. But craving ice cream and real milkshakes (like Baskin Robbins hand spun type) are killing me lol

  • I just melt for chocolate covered almonds and bacon cheese burgers with fries hahaha luckily I have my husband who limits how much I eat that kinda stuff because when I get it I just eat it all up.. he'll tell me babe no just this much remember you eat for two you both need to be healthy then I'll be sad but say you are right
  • Twix- I love them!
  • Carbs!!! Both this pregnancy and with dd1 I wanted all the bread. Now it's mainly in the form of sandwiches (buffalo chicken from chili's and a Philly cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms from a local little sub shop), pizza and breadsticks (Pizza Hut with extra seasoning). I'm afraid that was why I failed the 1 hour gd test and was cutting it close according to one doctor but find according to the other with the 3 hour test with dd1. I really try to limit my sandwich/breads to once a day and of course I'm going to cut wayyyy down on them before my test (the things you learn the second time around!)
  • Oatmeal with frozen berries. That's all I eat for breakfast anymore. And of course ice cream. I did start to notice some weight gain in my arms so no more junk for the duration of my pregnancy, even though I was only indulging once a week.

    Pizza. It's on my mind all day, e'ryday. My husband has even told me "What's up with you and pizza? You want it all the time".
    Uhhh, yeah,I do. And your point is?! Don't judge me.
  • Omg I love guacamole!! And the fresh lemonade from Wendy's.
  • Anything chocolate... And pizza with lots of veggies, and veggie sub from subway
  • Any and all forms of ice cream. Especially milkshakes!
  • I've always liked junk food, so it's been hard to balance that with eating healthy. I try, but I LOVE Twix bars and will sometimes break down and get nachos or a crunch wrap from Taco Bell. My husband has been amazing at cooking healthy meals for dinner. And, while I drink a lot of water (even prepregnancy), I still sometimes just want a fountain Coke. :) 
  • I have been even more addicted to chocolate than I normally am. Pre-pregnancy I would buy a bar of dark chocolate from trader joes and have one square a day as my treat. During pregnancy, it is dangerous to even keep chocolate in the house. I raided the baking cabinet the other day and ate the chocolate chips.

  • Carbs are my weakness. I love bagels, English muffins, cereal, or anything bready and delicious! I try to limit my indulging, but yum!

    OMG Taco Bell Crunch wraps!!! I craved them for weeks when I finally caved and drove 20 minutes across town just to get one, and a beefy 5 layer burrito and an extra cup of nacho cheese to dip the crunch wrap in! I crave the crunch wraps constantly and nearly cried when we accidentally found a taco bell with a KFC (SO wanted KFC so we were stopping for lunch) during our emergency 41hour round trip driving experience

    Sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar.
    Ice cream, soda, or candy. I have to have one every day or I just can't think about anything else. It's usually ice cream. I love chocolate dipped fruit too. Ooh and smores!

  • Chili con queso from Buffalo Wild Wings and vanilla ice cream COVERED in rainbow sprinkles! I try to only have it here and there but it's so addicting!!!
  • CHEESECAKE!!!!! I have only bought it once because I don't want to over do it and hate it later or eat too much sweets. But I bought the big two pound one and allow myself to have a piece each day because it's soooooooo good.
  • I agree with all the pleasures! Why did I post this, now I'm craving EVERYTHING! To everyone who ever had the GD test...did you pass?
  • Cookies!! I don't generally have this crazy of a sweet tooth, but I have at least 2 cookies a day. We are keeping her name a secret and so I've joked her name is Milano Cookie.

    Also: I go through about a box of popsicles a week. At least they are the all natural kind?

    Oh, and while it's not exactly guilty, my morning coffee routine just got upped when I started warming milk in the microwave and shaking it before adding it to my brew. It gets all frothy and is like a little slice of heaven each morning. Mmmm!

    I passed it with both of my other pregnancies and passed. With my son I ate so much candy it was crazy!

    @babybumb1229 I read this waaay to fast and with tired eyes....I thought you wrote that you melted chocolate covered almonds over a bacon cheese burger with fries....Haha Nice! :D

    Like some of the other Mamas, I'm craving SUGAR (Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!!!) and carbs...I'm in love with scones at the moment.

  • i passed the 1 hr test , but im so addicted to sweet things omg , i wish i live in the willy wonka world lol But i know i need to stop.
  • Cool ranch Doritos even though I feel like garbage after I eat them. Turns out I'm not so good with the portion control!
