My husband and I are pretty set on Georgia as a first name, but are stuck on what a middle name should be, we have two options picked out that we like, but are open to suggestions :)

Love Georgia to death. Georgia Rose sounds like a type of rose or a country song though. I don't like 2 noun names together. Indifferent on Athena. It's nice, but I don't love it.

Athena while it doesn't flow perfectly it's unexpected. Rose is a new filler name and it seems weird with Georgia, it reminds me of Georgia peach

I voted other. Georgia Athena doesn't flow well to me, plus I don't like that it's two places. Rose is nice, but with Georgia it sounds like the name of a flower or something.

    Other suggestions:
    Georgia Claire
    Georgia Kathleen
    Georgia Camille
    Georgia Kate
    Georgia Francine
    Georgia Frances
    Georgia Katherine
    Georgia Renee
    Georgia Louise
    Georgia Margaret
    Georgia Simone

My favorites are Georgia Claire and Georgia Louise!

Thank you for the opinions and suggestions, ladies!

I voted Georgia Rose because it flows better. But I like how Athena is unexpectrd. It just doesn't flow because Georgia ends with the same sound which Athena starts with. (Which is a pet peeve of mine that DH laughs at. I vetoed a ton of great boy and girl names for that reason)

The name Georgia needs a traditional name to anchor it. I second Louise

I honestly had the same thoughts about Rose @kh1824

I love the name Louise but DH isn't going for it. :(

Beautiful name, also love Georgia Annalise

Georgia Rose is lovely but is too descriptive. Georgia Athena doesn't flow right to my ear with the same ending. How about:

    Georgia Katherine/Kate
    Georgia Penelope
    Georgia Felicity
    Georgia Caroline
    Georgia Claire

Georgia Rose sounds cheesy/country. I like Athena, but agree that it doesn't work with Georgia, because of all of the As.

    Georgia Claire
    Georgia Caroline
    Georgia Lauren
    Georgia Charlotte (maybe too southern)
    Georgia Celeste
    Georgia Elise

I agree that Georgia Rose reminds me of Georgia Peach... Georgia Athena flows nicely. That said, I think I personally prefer a one syllable middle name with Georgia. I think Georgia Clare, Georgia Rae, and Georgia Kate sound nice.

    Good luck!

I actually like both of the middle names together: Athena Rose

Good idea! I'll have to run that by DH. I've been calling this baby Georgia since before I was even pregnant. Now that I know I'm having a girl I just assumed I'd stick with it.
