This may seem like an odd question, but for anyone whose had a child of mixed ethnicity, I wonder... At what point did your child/children develop their 'final' skin tone color? I'm surprised by how pale-skinned my baby is given the bio father's coloring-- curious to know if this is apt to change over time, or if she simply inherited my tone after all.

Edited cause I can't spell
Th oldest had her "final" color before her first bday. Maybe even by 6 months.
I've heard the same thing about looking at the ear color; if so, this LO will continue to be fairly pale. Her eyes are dark; her hair is dark; and her skin is yellow (she's still got jaundice). I don't know what ethnic background the bio father is; all I know is what I can surmise from having seen him 9 months ago. My guess is that he's part African, part Asian, but if I could get any more broad or uncertain, I don't know. Regardless, Baby Girl is absolutely beautiful and I love watching her grow into the person she's going to be-- whatever skin tone or ethnic background that may be.
