40 weeks & 4 days past due :/

this is my first baby, my due date was June 23. My Dr & others are pressuring me to induce. I was sent to the hospital this week for NST. They monitor my blood pressure, monitor her heart rate, & how she responds to my contractions. I also have a clicker and have to push button any time I feel her move. Both appts went great. They said we are both healthy. I go back to my Dr this Tues June 30, 41 week visit. I know my Dr is going to want to schedule to be induced. I don't want too unless there is a medical reason. I want to have baby as natural as possible....are any of you June moms past your due date?!

    Hi there if you look around you will find several threads specifically for past due mommas. I'd encourage you to look there as people might rather post there than on this thread. Good luck!

    Threads are called "weekly appointments", and "still pregnant". Also the "daily symptoms thread".

    My doctor wants me to have this baby when nature wants me to. However, he does want to schedule an induction date at my appointment on Monday. This is for two reasons. First, to have it on the books at an appropriate time I should have this baby and second, he says most of his mommas have the baby before the induction date. I guess it is his way of speeding it up even though there is no science behind it. Don't fret. In the end, all that matters is a healthy baby.

    The day they scheduled me for an induction I gave birth the next morning.
