Primrose oil?

Anyone trying or ever used evening primrose oil? Does it work? I'm 36 weeks and I have a big baby...I'm so ready for him to come out!! But wanted to ask experience with it 1st..then of course ask my doc next appointment.

    It will not induce labor just help rotten your cervix. Also there's been like six threads recently on this. All have great answers.

    I lost mine about a month ago already!! Been having contractions like crazy just not regular. And I'm 1cm dilated and about 30 effaced. Just took my 2nd pill for the day. I plan to take 3 orally and 1 vaginally at bedtime. They are 1000mg each. Will update. ;)

    Is there any danger to LO if your water breaks in the middle of the night when you still have an EPO capsule inserted?

    I've been taking 1200mg twice daily and once at night & im 50% thinned, hopefully at my next appointment something will change

    Let me know if it does @haayitstayy. I go tues. So hopefully mine changes too by then...that would make 4 days I've taken it. Fingers crossed

    @aliehoward I was 50% thinned before I started taking primrose sooo I'm really hoping it has made some changes to soften my cervix ! I'll definitely keep this post updated to any changes this week if they check me again because I had to ask last time for a check lol I'll probably just ask again hahaha :)

    Natural remedies are not necessarily safe, mainly because very little research has been done on it and there are no guarantees that it will induce labour and make any cervical changes.
    Your body knows best what to do when, also let your doc know if you're trying anything new or different.
