I have been breasteeding my twin girls and have had no problems until recently. I started feeding solids about a month ago and since then my supply has dwindled down. I'm desperately looking for solutions bec I'd like to continue to breastfeed for as long as possible. My Dr had suggested I feed them solids and THEN offer breast which led to them nursing less. After noticing the decrease, I did some research and started following the advice I picked up which was to nurse FIRST & then feed the solids. I've done this for the past few days and seems to be ok. They both still eat the solids even after they nurse. I STILL don't seem to have enough supply to nurse them at bedtime. They are very fussy and definitely are not getting enough. I've supplemented with formula for those nights but I really would much rather be feeding them breast milk. What can I do to increase my supply?? Any advice is appreciated!!
